Heya, the first is a kanzashi brooch I've made for my sisters birthday:

I've done several with cotton before and they're very cute, but I really like the silk used on this one...with any luck she will too!

3  Some old projects in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by lis enthusiasm on: June 20, 2012 01:01:08 PM
A few acryllic paintings I did probably 6 or 7 years ago- I'd seen the pictures as digital images I think on deviant art and liked them so decided I'd do them on canvas. They live in my sewing room now!

This lady is biro on coffee stained paper, then run through a printer. Again based off a photo I'd seen online and liked, she lives in my lounge now and always gets really nice comments Smiley

And this is just pencil crayons, not really sure what this was achieving lol

The front panel of a cushion I embroidered for my living room

A happy narwhal mini quilt! (He was on magnts too so he could be stuck up on a note board)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed I've rememvered how to post pictures...

6  Re: Alice In Wonderland Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by lis enthusiasm on: August 26, 2007 06:17:29 AM
ive finally got pics of mine to show!!! i recieved a while back but as i explained i just moved house so they only actually got to me a few days ago (went to the parents house)
on with the pics!

this bag is pure love! its soooo cool. its on display in my craft room at the minute because its so pretty! theres also some pins on the handle, im not sure the camera picked them up as well as i wanted though. Cheesy

this tin, i realy love it. its got lots of pics of alice on it, and CARDS! how cool are cards? very. itll also come in really handy for storing my little crafty bits in Cheesy thebottom of the tin is painted white with a picture of alice too.

lovely pillowcase (for some reason my retarded self thought 'yeah the back of the chair will display it perfectly!'..only after seeing the pic i thought 'i could have just laid it out on the floor...hah)
im going to have to pick up a pillow and keep it on display in my craft room (which is going to be alice themed Cheesy)

this is an ATC-its the first go octopiis had at making one, and its the first one ive recieved! so thats made me rather pleased Smiley what better way to start off a collection?

ok, after FOREVER, my sister devlivered bingo to me (from yberry) Cheesy. my sister is officially THE worst postman in the world.
anyway, i took some action pics of bingo last night, and here they are Cheesy

this is bingo, sitting happily in my craft room. hes with his favourite cupcake that yberry sent along, however it wasnt long before he got into mischief around my craft room...

here he is with the sewing machine...wait...bingo...that stays there!!NOOo!

here he is on the wall (too much sugar in that cupcake i tell thee)

all fun and games till he found the fabric stash...

this pic didnt come out well but its all the extras yberry sent along Cheesy
theres a cd (stereogram) which i have yet to listen to, but i heard good things about them a while back so im excited to listen to this later!
a squeaky hippo toy (very cute!), and a little water pistol (hah, this is my new 'alarm clock' for the boyfriend i think!!)
all in a little cool washbag Cheesy

REALLY awesome package, i heart it!
thanks so much yael Cheesy

8  raggy dolls...raggy dollss in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by lis enthusiasm on: August 13, 2007 04:10:49 AM
weelll. after i ended my main schooling at 16, i made a doll similar to these out of my sports shirt. because thats what theyre for, right?

4 years later, ive just moved out of home and am currently on the jobhunt. which has given me a fair amount of free time. which has seen me digging into my stash and making a couple more dolls like the one i made a few years back (no pics of her though, sorry Sad)
but with more detailed clothing and with more of the techniques ive picked up along the way.

lola and rose.
lola is the first one i made, she has exactly the same face as the really old doll i made.
i made rose yesterday, shes got a happy expression.
theyre sisters.

these took me a fair while to make. the hardest part by far was the clothes though. im absolutely useless at dolls clothes! i embroidered each dolls name on the clothes though, i thought that was fairly cute.

after re-discovering my creepy dolly love, i think ill probably be making many more of these...hah!

9  MY FIRST GO!!! cupcake top in Stenciling: Completed Projects by lis enthusiasm on: July 01, 2007 03:13:58 PM
i sat down earlier and thought 'ooh i wanna learn to stencil onto shirts'

so...i looked at a few tutorials, found out what i needed and raced off to hobbycraft.
then i came back home, dug out some old (and admittedly a size too small now) shirts that i didnt care if i messed up.
theennn found the all important cupcake design. because a shirt isnt a shirt without a cupcake.

spent absolutely ages cutting this stencil out, tested it out on some paper with spray paint.

anyway. heres the before picture

this is after

and a couple of action shots

scuse the flab monster

i need to go over the black part again because it looks a little patchy, but im quite pleased with it for a first go. its usable atleast. im not happy with the placement of the cupcake, but it really was just to test out that it worked, i can do it again on a shirt that a)fits and b)isnt manky. woo!

thankyou crafter people for inspiring me to pick up YET ANOTHER craft to fill up my bedroom with  Cheesy Cheesy
