1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Needle Felted Bendy Guy on: August 16, 2012 01:27:15 PM
I made this guy by first making a pipe cleaner, stick figure, then felting around it.  While felting this, my boyfriend arrived home and said, "I thought I felt something!" Never even thought how creepy I probably looked, jabbing a needle into this little man. These are pretty fun to play with.

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / "Popular" Elphaba Amigurumi from Wicked on: March 11, 2008 08:58:27 AM
Here is my Elphaba Amigurumi.  I just love how she turned out.  She's so cute.  Notice she has the pink flower in her hair from the "Popular" song in the play.

3  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Bunny Slippers on: March 11, 2008 08:40:52 AM
Here is my version of the bunny slippers.  I changed the ears from the pattern because I didn't like how mousy they looked.  I like how these turned out.  They actually stand up pretty good.  I also added the pompom tail cause who doesn't love pompoms.

4  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Neddle Felted Jack Skellington Beads on: March 11, 2008 08:32:05 AM
Here is my latest needle felting project.  It was for the Tim Burton Swap.  I absolutely love how this turned out.  Some of them have so much expresion in them.  Each bead has a different Jack face.  I made the beads big, about the size of a nickle.  They were a lot of fun to make.  I have had multiple requests for more from friends and family.  I guess I should get busy.

Here you can kind of get an idea of size.

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Star Wars, Shrinky Dink, Key Chain on: February 16, 2008 09:58:22 PM
My son loves Star Wars and is always trying to get me to make him something.  So, this is what I came up with the other night while on a Shrinky Dink Frenzy.  I would like to say I came up with the drawings on my own, but I'm sad to say I am not much of a drawer.  These are traced from the boxes of the new Star Wars toys.  They are called Mugs or something like that.  I think that it turned out really cute and the best part is that my son loves it.

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Vagina Swap Rnd. 4 on: February 11, 2008 10:56:29 AM
So, I was looking around on Etsy and I came across the most beautiful vagina pendant.  I would love to do a vagina swap.  I've looked around a bit on here and saw that there has been 3 rounds so far, but all back in '05.  Anyone up for it??? Cheesy
7  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Needle Felted Hello Kitty Magnets on: January 29, 2008 08:38:00 AM
I made these for the Hello Kitty Swap and think they turned out so cute.  The only thing I didn't care for was the color of Deer Lou.  I tried to combine colors to get it closer to her actual color, but it didn't really work.  Nobody else probably cares, but I admit I am a bit of a perfectionist.

8  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Needle Felted Tree Magnet and Owls to go with it on: January 29, 2008 08:16:58 AM
I made these for the Owl Swap and I am very happy with how they turned out.  My husband told me that they are his favorite things I've ever made!  He was so sad to see them go.  He tried to talk me into keeping just one or two of the owls, but I assured him that I will make him very own set.

The whole set:

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Felted goodwill sweaters into messenger "Man Bag" on: October 09, 2007 01:13:29 PM
I made this for the significant others swap.  My partner's SO needed a "man Bag", so this is what I came up with.  I found two wool sweaters at goodwill and felted them at home. I forgot to take before pictures.  The grey was a cardigan sweater with pockets on the front.  These made up the front part of the bag.  I added pockets on the inside.  One big enough to hold a cell phone or whatever and one for pens and pencils.  I simply crocheted the strap for it.  I'm not much of a sewer, but I think this turned out good.

10  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Wet Felted Clutch w/ Needle Felted Button and Flower on: September 10, 2007 01:45:17 PM
This was my first try at felting and I love it.  It's safe to say I'm hooked. Grin
