282  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / uncommon threads how to? on: March 08, 2007 01:42:58 PM
I was watching uncommon threads this morning and they were reconstructing white t's into a wedding dress or something and all i could think of was the shirt the girl doing it was wearing. Here's a pic..it's kind of hard to see but this is the best picture I could find.  Does anyone know how to do this?

vegbee, adorably as usual. You know,I don't know how you do it! You're always posting something you've made. I have 3 boys who are gone to school all day and I only work 3 times a week but can't get nearly as much done as you! What's your secret? Have you learned to stop time? Please tell us! Anyways, I love all the stuff you make for your little girlie girl! and yes, bribery can work wonders if only for a while!

286  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: anthropologie SEVEN HILLS DRESS help? on: February 22, 2007 11:09:29 AM
I found this exact same dress pattern in the Spring Mccalls today and I wrote down the number for you but now I've lost it. However, I know it's in the spring catalog  It even had the drawstring with the casing for it and everything, you would need to change the sleeves though possibly. Sorry I can't remember the number! M5039 is also similar to it as well, Mccalls also. Hope this helps if you're still looking.
FOUND IT!!!! McCalls M5316

287  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: Unwanted Print - Hot to get it off? on: February 18, 2007 02:25:15 PM
When I used the Avery Dark T transfer and needed to remove it, I reheated it with a hot iron with a reular sheet of printer paper over it and it stuck to that and came off the shirt completely. it was off a denim-canvas fabric though.

pixeegrl I love your tatt!  Her wings are awesome!
Did you design it yourself?
No I wish, it's from an artist on Deviant art I will post her name when I remember it, I'm not home to look it up. She's great though for allowing me to put her personal art on my skin!

Wow, it took forever to look at all these tats. It was definitely worth it though. Here's my addition, her wings say Believe. It's faded some and I need to go back and get some more shading done too. With 3 boys though, there's not much time for mom.  It was my 13th anniversary present from my hubby! He's got a ton so it was my turn.  I'm ready for another but haven't decided what I want, I'll wait untill I have an idea I love before getting it though. They're very addicting!
