I just listed these...I've been in a "Welcome, Spring!" kind of mood this week since it was 75 degrees the other day, but now.... well, its been sleeting and snowing all day today. I just don't understand PA weather! Haha! Anyways, on to the goods:

"April Showers" earrings

I've had an idea for a necklace like this for a while, so I tried out earrings first - I'm in love with them! I'm listing them, for sure.  Smiley Do you guys like the thunderbolt, or do you think they'd be cuter without it? I can't decide...

I need to get more shrinky paper to make the necklace...I didn't realize I was out until a minute ago!  Undecided

I also made this with my last little bit of shrinkies -

23  Re: Hipslinger belt....its like a fanny pack but WAYYYYYYY cooler.... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Rocka311 on: March 12, 2007 10:24:41 AM

I bought these awesome cupcake shoes at Hot Topic the other day, and then realized that they sorta matched my hipslinger (which now doubles as a purse)...

So I did this:

24  Heel-socks..... so you can wear socks with flats and not look dumb! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Rocka311 on: March 12, 2007 09:49:25 AM
I got these adorable flats at Hot Topic the other day, but they didn't have any half sizes, so I had to get an 8...they're a little big and slip up and down on the heel. So...... I made these:

They protect my heel, but don't look TOO stupid with flats (except for the fact that they say Old Navy on the front.... they were the only pair I had to cut up. I'm going thrifting today to find some plain ones!)  Grin I think they're actually kinda cute.

In action:

25  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery - March 2007 in The Swap Gallery by Rocka311 on: March 10, 2007 06:02:07 PM
Peachcake and I did another personal swap....we called this one the "Swap Because We Love To Swap" Swap! I have said it before, and I'll say it again - I <3 Peachcake!!  Grin

She sent me: a lil' green squiddy to be friends with the blue one she sent me in the last swap. I <3 him!!!!
Here they are together:

She also sent this adorable little "kookie" guy...I don't know what to call him, except for adorable! I just love the fabric he's made out of! And.....*drumroll*..... my very owl Cookie Pouch! Surely many of you have seen her Sad Chocolate Chip Cookie https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=156170.msg1557557#msg1557557 (so cute!). Well.... she made me a Sad Oreo!!! He is definitely going to be used to carry my business cards! And the best part - on the back, its embroidered "Rockacake" hehehe

But wait! That's not all! She also sent me a Knitting for Dummies book (I can't wait to start learning! Hopefully I can figure this out.... Grin), some yummy teas (camomile flowers and grapefruit-green. Yum!), a baggie of loose vanilla (smells delish!), a bag of gummie fish, some cute sea creature stickers

Peach is my Best Swap Friend...hooray for swaps! <333

Ok, I need some more advice about my St. Patrick's Day promotion -
(for every item purchased, the customer gets 1 entry in a drawing for a gift).

Now - I made this today:

a Shamrock Scuby!  Grin She's a pin.

Should I make her the prize, or should I just list her in the shop (do you think someone would buy her??)? I think she's adorable, and I'm half-tempted to just keep her for myself! Haha!

What do you think?

Yay! I got a fabulous package from ScotSkipper402 today...

She made me this AMAZING skirt:

I love it!!! It is EXACTLY what I wanted...no, wait....even BETTER! And it fits BEAUTIFULLY! Its cold outside so no action shots just yet, but I promise I will get one eventually!!

And these other goodies: a vintage (never used!) Batik pattern book from the 70s (sooooo cool.... I can't wait to try this!), some vintage Christmas post cards (very cool!), and some pretty beads (yay!)

30  Shrinky earrings - apples, pears, and sea urchins in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Rocka311 on: March 05, 2007 05:19:18 PM
I made these with my beautiful new Sharpies that I got from CClewis in OWS19 (yay!) -

The colors on the pear look a little funny in this picture - they're actually hot pink with a peach-ish color inside.... they're not as red in real life.
