Have you seen the cute chic easter egg cozies?  They're on Craftster somewhere, (or my blog if you wanna check it out.  Grin

Anway, I knitted like, 10 for easter, and the youngest cat fell in LOVE with them!  One day I came home to the plastic storage bin they were hiding in KNOCKED over, and the living room was COVERED with little yellow chics!  (and naked plastic eggs.)  It looked like a chick graveyard!

You'd think that one would be enough, but noooo not for my cat.  Roll Eyes
12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Black and White Swap Gallery on: August 21, 2005 06:13:34 PM
Okay, I FINALLY got pictures of my received items taken, and while I wish I could post individual pics of everything just so you could see how cool it all is, I decided against it for the sake of space.   Grin

So the first picture is of an awesome little bag that looks VERY professionaly sewn, which I love.  'Cause really, a girl can never have too many bags!  Posing on top of the bag is a knitted stuffed bunny which I have to display high up 'cause the cats want to turn it into a toy!  Also in this pic is a femo? clay pen.  A cow print one was also given to me, but that one is at work.  I work at a bank and ALWAYS have to have cool pens to write with, so this was PERFECT!  (And what's even more perfect is that I only write in blue ink.  I thought for sure these pens would be black, but YAY!  They were blue!)  Oh yeah, the stars were an optional add on, which I DO plan on adding on to the bag.  I looove stars.   Grin

Now, this drawing I think is my favorite gift from the swap.  I gutted out the computer room closet and have my craft desk in there, with ONLY crafty stuff on the shelves, walls, etc.  This pic goes PERFECT!!  (I know, I'm totally overusing the word perfect, but I can't help it.  That's waht it all is.)

Last but least, a highly personalized peice of art that made my day!  For the story behind this picture, check out my blog.  (A few entries back)  Grin

Mine too!  I'm cured!  Thanks, Leah, I'm glad I don't have to use Explorer anymore!  Grin

Haha!  That's great!  But if you like that, you HAVE to go to knitty.com.  Even if you don't knit.

In the "sex and the knitty" issue there's a project that's called "302 calories" that is a thong (you know, like underwear type,) that's knitted with redvines!  Cracks me up.

Anyone else seen it?
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Re: Castor Beans, Don't Work on: August 14, 2005 10:35:57 AM
Ha ha!  I'm so sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but that is the funniest thing I have seen/heard in a while.  You should submit that pic to some Home & Garden magazine, I bet they'd get a kick out of it.

Darn, off to plan B I guess... I wish I had a solution for you.

I AM glad, however, that you're trying the more humane way to rid yourself of these pests, no matter how pesky they may be.   Smiley

Good luck!

I love the cami too!  Especially with the black trim, it looks very flattering.   Grin
17  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: looking for an atypical punk rock striped scarf pattern on: August 14, 2005 09:22:55 AM
It's not exactly striped, but have you seen/considered the "alien illusion" scarf in the original SNB book?  You can see a pic at www.knithappens.com.

I love all of them!  Especially the bug ones.

But I have to say, I laughed out loud when I read your typo "booby pins".  Sounds painful!  Grin

I'm drunk.  Jordon gets pissed when I'm drunk, so even though it's our first day of vacation, if he's still mad tomorrow I'll go!  So anyway someone has to say something so it shows up in my "New Replies To Your Posts" button, or I'll forget all about this.  Hahahahaaa....

20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Homemade Bikini Contest @ Local Bar (No, I'm not kidding) on: August 02, 2005 10:11:18 PM
Coma_Girl, when I read your "popcan" idea at first I thought it said popcorn.  Now that would be a site, all strung up like a Christmas tree... Although it probably wouldn't do good under water...
