I crochet for years and only started learning to read pattern like about 2 years ago and still sometimes like now trying to make these granny squares fancy ones and have to read and re-read and sometimes a struggle to figure out. Sometimes its the way the pattern is written I have seen them written very clearly explained and other times very confusing.  Enjoy yourself is the main thing  Smiley
