205  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Purses! Under The Sea and Hogwarts Crest. on: February 17, 2008 07:01:41 PM
I made this out of a pattern I drafted using another pattern as inspiration. The pattern turned out just the way I had wanted, but while making the purse I hadn't done a few things as I had wanted so it didn't turn out how I wanted it to, but I managed to save it, and make it into a perfectly usable, and pretty sweet, purse.

I made this purse for the Deathly Hallows book party I went to in Wilmington. I used the pattern from a website I can't remember, btu I'm pretty sure if you search Harry Potter Paper Peicing, or soemthing like that, you will find it. If I find it I'll add the link here.

206  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Two Bracelets. HP and experiment chain on: February 17, 2008 06:57:06 PM
I don't normally wear bracelets, but the kind that are like friendship bracelets don't really bother me, A few strands of string braided together is very simlpe, so I made this one to show my love for harry potter. I don't like to be obvious about loving Harry Potter, because I want people to see me as more than a Harry Potter geek, because I am so much more than that.

Its made from embriodery floss, in the colors of each Hogwarts house, knotten together in a way that they are combined and seperated to be a group and individuals, that's how Hogwarts strikes me as being.

I also Made this chain breacelet with some embroidery floss stranded in the loops. This was mostly just a practice breacelt, to see how it would look, normally, if I hadn't just whipped (W-hhh-ipped *family guy*!) this up, I would have used those tiny metal things that you use when making jewelry out of ribbon, or leather string, so that you can hook it to a jump ring, I don't know what they are called. But anyway, if I had been making this for anyone other than myself, I wouldn't have just knotted the strint to the last hoops of the chain.

These are the two colors I used in the bracelet, purple and gold, my two favorite colors and my favorite color combination.

207  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Painted Ceramics. Mythical Creatures and More! on: February 17, 2008 06:46:15 PM
I've been painting pre-poured ceramics sice I can remember. My grandmother got me into it, and I've love it very much. I don't have the patients for making my own ceramic things, wether it be pouring in molds or molding with clay.

Here are some things I've painted over the years.
