11  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / basic stenciling questions from a newbie on: August 14, 2007 02:37:43 PM
okay...so i've been wanting to stencil on shirts for awhile now.. and there are a couple things i don't get-
-how do you work those floating islands into your stencil
(sorry if i'm not making sense)
do you just have to make two stencils for the same picture?
-also....all i have at my house right now is acrilic paint...is there anything i could find lying around the house that would maybe mix with it or something to make it work? i can't drive...so i can't get to stores often without severly annoying my parents.

so if i want to make a band shirt.....i can use the name of the band....but i would have to use my own artwork......right?

sorry i just stumbled upon this link and thought it was very helpful...but i'm still confused
i really love band shirts..but they're always soooo expensive.....yep i'm cheap
thanks if you can help me!
