41  Re: Japanese Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by SilverWing on: November 16, 2006 06:24:16 AM
Hey!  I'm a horrible person and it's taken me way longer to get pics up than it should have, but here it finally is!  My amazing package from Mezzi:

I got a Fruits fashion magazine, which is sooo cool.  I can't find them anywhere around where I live.  Two cute bracelets and an adorable headband.  Hello Kitty gum!  Verry good gum, lol.  Tons of cute cute stationary, and my favorite, legwarmers!!  I'm so excited about these, I think I'm going to start a collection.  I've already worn them a few times, their way cute and comfy!  ^^  Thank you so much, Mezzi!  Sorry it took me so long to get a pic posted!  ><

Ok, here are my pics, finally.  ><  Sooooo sorry it took me so long.  Work just decided to try and kick my rear these last few weeks...
Anyway, here's my amazing altered book kit from HalfElvenWriter!  I can't begin to name everything included in this incredible package.  She made a lovely instructional altered book for me (I had one on my wist!  ^^)  There was also a set of colored permenant markers that I've aready torn into.

And my lovely embroidery kit from Dancer4Ever.  She also told me there were Sublime Stitching patterns on their way, so I can't wait to get started!  And I love the thread colors!

Sorry this took me so long to post!  Life's been insane lately!  I recieved this wonderful package from ecrameri!  I already ate most of the chocolate, lol.  But the package included chocolates, vegemite, drink mixes, chips (I love the pizza ones!) tons of stickers, an eraser, australian flag picks and tatoos, panda bear clippies, hello kitty stationary shaped like sticks of gum, pen, pencil, super cute folding hairbrush, postcards, photo album, a kangaroo and a ^^ wombat plushie (now happily residing on my bag!) a marine life wall hanging, and cute block print card!  I love all of it!  I tried the vegemite, lol, and...I did't hate it.  It's definatly different.  It was much saltier that I was expecting it to be, and I my first impression was, "It's brown?"  lol.  I love that they have Handy Snacks with vegemite in them, though, in Australia.  The ones I alwasy got as a kid had cheddar cheese in them and I was obsessed with them.  Thank you again, ecrameri!

edit: I don't know why it still doesn't say I recieved on the first post, I messeged the organizer a long time ago?  I recieved prolly, two weeks ago now.   Did the organizers change?

Hey!!!  I'm soooo sorry it's taken me so long to get pics up.  Life sorta' went crazy on me, as it always seems to when there are things I need to get done in the crafting part of my life.  ><  But here is my fabulous messenger bag kit from cornflakegirly!  I love the fabric!  It's black with vases and urns detailed in gold all over it.  I was hoping to get "after" pics sooner, but it may be a little while after things settle down a bit.  That way I can take my time.  ^^  Kit includes paper, instructions, fabric for lining, outter fabric, and interfacing, and velcro.  ^^  I can't wait to get my bag finished.

So as ruwena already said, we got to meet up for our swap, which was amazing, and I have to say, this was probably my favorite swap yet.  I had a blast hanging and chatting with her yesterday!  And she's and incredible swapper!

My Vincent Valentine shirt and Rikku scarf!   Hand dyed to perfection, I'm still in shock.

close up of Vinny! ^^

Crazy cool mirror with Sora's opening quote from KH!

(I love how pics of mirrors always look so different!)

And my lovely Yuna necklace!

The pics don't do anything justice, it's all so amazing!  I tried to take pics of me wearing the necklace, but they all came out blurry.  That was the clearest shot I could get.  My digi cam doesn't like close up, lol.  But we had so much fun trading crafts yesterday.  I can't wait to meet back up for crafting fun!  Thank you again!!!

So my mom's a crochet addict (yes, and she handed it down to me  ^^)   these are so cute I thought I'd share some pics.

The mushrooms range from 4 to 6 inches or so high.  Do you think they should have faces?  I can't decide?

50  Sculpy Dolls in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SilverWing on: October 11, 2005 10:31:14 PM
I've seen so many adorable dolls that people have made on LJ and here that I had to try some of my own.  Basically just sculpy, wire for joings, hair, and whatever I had laying around to decorate.  The pics aren't great, as the lighting was really bad, but you kinda' get the idea.  These are really fun to make, though.
