1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ms. Vickie hat aka Braided cable hat on: December 07, 2010 08:37:39 AM
I made this hat for my MIL (mother in law). It's a simple slightly slouchy hat with Braided cables. Super easy on size 10 needles using Comfort (50% acrylic; 50% Nylon).

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / 1 Neckwarmer and 1 cowl on: December 03, 2008 11:17:11 AM
1 neckwarmer that I named Sixteen and a cowl that I named Smocked both modeled by my best friend.

Sixteen (knit in Fishermans Rib)

Smocked (cowl knit in the smocking stitch)

Let me know what you think.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Dylan slouchy hat on: October 27, 2008 10:11:38 AM
I made this hat this weekend as a prototype. Tons of people have been asking me to make slouchy type hats so this is a first in the series. I just had to make sure I had the shape right.

I made it in a simple 7 by 1 rib in a tan color. I think it would look good on a girl or a guy. Let me know what u think.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Diagonal Rib Neckwarmer on: October 10, 2008 08:35:18 AM
A neckwarmer I whipped up a few days ago. I ran out of my Andean Silk Twist right at the end of it so subbed in some Ultra alpaca to bring the neckwarmer to a point with the i-cord loop.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My "Brimmer" hat on: March 06, 2008 08:41:32 AM
So I have been on the lookout for a knit beanie hat with a knitted brim but I could never find any instructions on how to knit an actual brim. So this past weekend I sat down and proceeded through trial and error to come up with a decent looking knit brim. Did I succeed? Yes I did....The result is what I call my Brimmer hat.

I love it and I cannot wait to make another. My only disappointment is in my color changes within the hat..they look wonky but oh well everything can't be perfect I rushed through the knitting the beanie. I 'll take my time on the next one.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitty's Foliage on: October 05, 2007 09:41:11 AM
So I finished Foliage from Knitty's fall 2007 issue a few days ago. This was such a quick knit and I love the finished product. I used malabrigo and I think the color is called ambrosia....
