Awesome owl!  When I first saw it, I thought it was a creative totoro.  Here are a couple of totoros for reference:

I watched the movie "My Neighbor Totoro" two times with my daughter today, so I had totoros on the brain!  Smiley

I looked at the bathwater and drew a complete blank.  Blue Jello.  What genius.  Who cares how it tastes?  Cheesy (Although I hate to admit it publicly, I like the stuff in small doses.)

Awesome job.  Aren't kids a riot?  The only thing I can possibly think of that would add to the alien-ness of your adorable kitty is some antennae.  Then again, they might just get ripped off. Love the devil ears.  "Devil ears."  I just like saying it.

Okay, the dress is fabulous.  But your daughter is even more so!  What a cute girl, and looking great! She is so lucky to have such a talented mom.  Don't be surprised if your friends with girls start dropping hints soon ...

It doesn't look that simple to me!  Simple to me is a tube dress made out of that pre-smocked stuff at Wal-Mart.  You've accomplished a great deal more than that, and I'm sure you learned a lot during the process.  Your dress is great, and you look great in it! Congratulations!

The polka-dot version is totally couture.  I love it, and wouldn't be surprised if someone eventually turns up in something very like it on Oscar night! You have real talent, and I hope you continue to explore design.

Amazing job.  I've been thinking a lot about doing a mural for my daughter's room (she's moving out of mommy's room after her first birthday next month), but I found the whole thing a little intimidating.  From looking at your results, I can see that it just might be do-able.  How did you transfer the design to the wall? Did you use a projector, or a grid, or (yikes) freehand it?
