1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My version of the Irish Hiking Scarf.... on: February 01, 2007 07:39:13 PM
Ok so a full lenghth scarf of this would have made me BATTY!  so I did about a 3/4's lenght then casted off the stitches in the middle. Knit a little on the border then casted on for the middle again, making a hole to pull the scarf through.  Here is my cousin linz modeling it for us.  I gave it to her for Christmas.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Earrings.... on: February 01, 2007 07:29:19 PM
So I taught a earing workshop class today.  And while the students were working on their pairs, I had a ton of fun with some Venetian Glass.  I think my favorite are either the straight silver ones..... or maybe the silver and blue.  I just love the colors that you get with Venetian Glass, I just wish i could afford it all the time.  Thank God for tax return time!

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Button Button, I've got the buttons! on: February 01, 2007 07:17:23 PM
I was playing with some antique buttons yesterday and came up with this.  There is one button per link in the chain.  The chain is a very heavy sterling silver chain from Italy, and they were hand wired on with 22 gauge silver wire.  Lots of fun to wear!!!!!  It makes a great noise!

Sorry that one is kind of blurry.

In this pic you can see the silver wire better.  ignore the 2 bowls on either side, they were just holders.

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Every Girl Needs Pearls on: February 01, 2007 07:14:27 PM
Fresh water pearls hand knotted on silk.  I did this yesterday while i was at work at the bead store.  And for once I am keeping them for me, not giving them as a present.  my fingers are very sore!!!!!!  But they are very worth it.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Rainbow baby socks.... on: January 29, 2007 06:47:04 PM
My two favorite lesbians just adopted, it was quick so I didn't have anything done for them.  So while working on Saturday I whipped these up.

What baby doesn't need a good pair of pride socks?

I need to find more of this yarn though, because I want a pair now.

6  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / needle felting can hurt... on: December 04, 2006 06:20:58 PM
I will spare you the wound pictures.  But here is the hat.  on my very tired, crazy, looking head!

Well worth the wounds it is very very warm.  Jack however hates it and think i look goofy in it.  So i have dubbed it my "thinking cap" and have worn it all evening!  *giggle*
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Mittens for me!!!!! on: November 09, 2006 08:44:04 AM
I rarely knit for myself.  But i needed a new pair of mittens, so here they are.  They are pretty plain i know, but they were fast and easy to knit up.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / The coziest slippers ever.... on: November 02, 2006 08:48:04 AM
