1  is this too much? in Get Product and Website Opinions by redgreen on: June 22, 2008 05:52:06 AM
A friend and me want to start out on a market stall selling handmade jewellery.
We want to make a bunch of these asymmetrical necklaces.

What do you think of these?
I would love some opinions and critique...

4  how to make these 'woven' earrings? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by redgreen on: June 01, 2008 06:18:42 AM
I've been trying to find out how to make this type of earrings for ages, I've seen this weaving in different places but dn't know what it's called.
Can anyone help what the technique is and how to make it?

Thanks  Smiley

6  My 6 year knitting project... in Knitting: Completed Projects by redgreen on: April 04, 2008 05:16:05 AM
OK, I've started working on this 6 years ago...I knitted 77 squares but obviously I made some very long breaks in between.
The idea was to use up all sorts of left overs, different colours, textures and try different patterns...
I still haven't finished the edges but I'll probably crochet that as it will be quicker...I think it was well worth the wait...I absolutely love it:

This shows the edge, I tried different patterns for this but it would take even longer if I did it this way all the way round...

a mobile made of pictures I took in Spain, London and Sweden...

two bracelets I crocheted:

and a little book on How to Knit:

Hope you like everything gwenyvarr...

I've been thinking about selling my photography for a while now...

This is just a small selection, I would like some feedback.
I sell them mounted and framed in whatever size wanted.

10  Felted bowling bag in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by redgreen on: December 16, 2006 09:30:05 AM
I finally finished my bowling bag. I had tried to change the size slightly but it got soo big and expensive I had to undo it and finally settled with the original bigger size from the book.

I used 100% wool which means it was only a third of its original size after felting.

The felt is very strong and stable enough to use without lining.

I love it and I hope my friend who gets it for xmas will like it too...
