1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: New Stitch Diva Pattern/Glampyre sweater on: November 18, 2006 08:30:49 PM
Wow!  Where is everyone?  It's been pretty quiet.  I got to have the pleasure of frogging 4 rounds of the lace section.  And, I'm using the Rock Star yarn.  What a bear that was to rip out with those beads.  I'm back on track now and have finished one repeat.  It's slow going and now I've got a lifeline in there.  I would highly recommend that anyone do that to save your sanity!  I also have stitch markers every 14 stitches so I can make sure I haven't screwed anything up.  Not sure what I did the first time... I think I probably forgot a yo or something.  I'm also trying to complete one of my main projects before Thanksgiving, so I guess I should work on one of the 3 sweaters I'm knitting that is the closest to being done, and it ain't this one!
Has anyone heard anything about the preview of the Sahara Sweater from Stitch Diva?  I would love to do that one in White for Summer.
Have a great weekend.

Woo Hoo!  My first post and my first knitalong!  And my 1st sweater for me!  I cast on 2 weeks ago making the L size and using the Tilli Tomas Burnt Olive like the long sleeve in the pattern.  I am just now to slipping the sleeve stitches and I started the 2nd skein.  The pattern says that it will take 4 skeins and I am wondering how close that will be?  Anyone out there doing the L size and the Tilli?  I am using size 9 needles.  Hoping to finish this thing before Thanksgiving!  I cannot believe how quick some of you are!
