I only used scotch tape to affix them to the inside. Just easiest way I could think of I guess!

Ah, that makes sense--so the umbrellas aren't glued down at all.  Thanks!

Wow--great job, guys!  I have a paper globe lamp with a torn shade that would be PERFECT for this project.  Are you guys just using Mod Podge to glue the lamps down, or is there something more lamp/heat-appropriate?

I love the colors!  And I'm intrigued by your reference to the Museum of Beads in DC...is it worth a visit? (I'm local.)
