Hmmm a local chapter in Australia...there's an idea!
And trust me, if I could sew, I would (sadly, that's not my forte)
so 'bah' to you (but still great idea!)

Whilst I'm sorry to say that at the moment, I can't help out, I think it's a FABULOUS idea! Sick lil kiddies will adore you. You can be the...uh....monster godmother? well maybe not. GREAT idea though! (And *if* I ever get around to starting my own site I'll contact you about linking you...)
495  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / some new website questions on: June 18, 2004 08:15:34 PM
I'm getting a site for my jewellery and accessories designed for me by my brother and I'd like the chance to sell some of it online but I'm completely clueless when it comes to these things.
I'm based in Australia (if that helps)
How much do you charge for PPH? Included in the price or added on? How do you accept payments? Do you need a special account to be able to take credit card payments? With cheques and money orders (whatever they are), do you send the product then expect payment or expect payment first?

Basically I want to know how you go about getting paid and sending your product out so that everyone is happy and what's the simplest way to do this?

Thanks!
I will post links when it's made!

498  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Barbie shoes - please help! on: June 16, 2004 06:05:13 AM
Hi all
I've dug up some barbie shoes and bits and pieces and want to go on a bit of a jewellery frenzy!
Can anyone who has made barbie earrings (if they're shoe ones, I want to see earrings with more than one shoe on each) or bracelets please post photos and ideas!
Thanks

Hi,
I'm having my first stall at a handcraft market in a couple of nights.
I'll be selling my jewellery (lots of earrings, some bracelets and necklaces) all for under $10 (Australian) a piece. Pretty cheap, but they're simple and I have no idea what will sell at what price (sorry I can't provide pics atm!)
Does anyone have any other suggestions what quick and easy items I can whip up? There are a few posts about felt flowers and marble magnets - anyone want to offer some instructions/suggestions/variations?
Also how much of everything should I bring?
I'm a bit clueles....
Thanks in advance!
