I hope I get yarn to knit this for Christmas or my birthday, if not, then I will order some after the first of the year.  Just have to finish a shawl that I am working on first. Grin

Cynder> Wow! that is crazy on the eyes! So cool that you finished it so fast! Did you like the pattern? Would you knit it again?

Sorry, I forgot to do the stats... LOL

Yes, I would knit the pattern again, just not with such a busy yarn.

99% Finished!

I still have to weave in the ends and sew on the button.
I really don't like how the colorway knitted up, but after doing research, dying a whole garmet isn't a good idea, so I'm thinking this will go to someone I know who likes loud patterns for the holidays.

I have the yarn and everything.  I just need to finish another shawl (which I haven't worked on in a few weeks) and Mr. Greenjeans, which I just need to knit the collar on.

It looks great! Have you been alternating balls of yarn or is it just not pooling?  I'm also wondering about the grape Kool-aid. Are you going to over-dye it?

I've been using one ball at a time.  The only real pooling has been on one sleeve, where the darker coler has pooled in a cool spiral.
I will use the kool-aid to over dye it, but I am going to knit a new swatch with the cables and test dye that first.

I'm almost finished Grin  All I have left is to finish the second sleeve, add another repeat to the bottom (thought I might run out of yarn) and do the ribbed collar.

I would be done, but needed to whip up a quick sweater for my son's birthday, which is only taking me 8 (maybe 9) days.

OK, I cast on Friday, making the size L, and have already gotten past the point where you separate the sleeves, and should start on the rib/cable pattern later this week! Grin

I'm not 100% loving how the yarn colorway is knitting up, and I have a feeling that this sweater might have a date with a batch of grape kool-aid after it is finished.

I have been obsessed with this pattern ever since the new Knitty came out.

I placed my first Webs order on Sunday, and received the yarn lastnight, Ella Ray classic wool, in a Green/Pink/Grey colorway (and forgot to take a photo of the yarn).

I just need to finish one quick shawl thats on the needles, and I plan to swatch and CO this weekend!

Anyone want to join?

ETA:  Here is the yarn I'm using

I hope to finish seaming and to block it this weekend.
