131  My fisrt knitting adventure in Knitting: Completed Projects by tattooedcrafter on: December 28, 2007 10:19:17 AM
I taught myself to knitty a about a month ago and I made this scarf for my step mom for christmas to go with a sweater I made her for her birthday, I used size 10 needles and simply soft. Its dark purple but the camera I used sucks so you can't really see the color, and my bed isn't lime green its black. I'm going to try and get better picture this weekend. I knitted 2 feet crocheted 6 inches and them knitted another 2 feet, it has alot of holes and wave but for the most part I'm happy with it.

132  Knitty Dagonfly sweater in Crochet in Crochet: Completed Projects by tattooedcrafter on: December 28, 2007 10:07:42 AM
I made this sweater for my step mom for her birthday that was in april and I just now got a picture of it. This was the first sweater I ever made and I had a hard time converting it from knit to crochet but in the end it turned out pretty good. The biggest difference between the original nad mine is I added the dragonflies after I was done crocheting it. I used simply soft yarn in two different colors of purple.
This isn't the best picture but its the best I could get at the moment.

133  Pink Cowl neck Sweater in Crochet: Completed Projects by tattooedcrafter on: December 28, 2007 10:02:08 AM
I made this sweater for a family friend for christmas, I think I'm going to make one for my self now.

I used this pattern
and simply soft yarn, it was really easy and it turned out great but I did have to add a couple of inches to the bottom because it was really short.

134  WOW, a pink bear and a blue elephant???? in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by tattooedcrafter on: December 28, 2007 09:58:27 AM
So I have a very short attention span so when I work on larger projects I have to make random little things in the process. I made a pink bear for a friend who also got a sweater from me for christmas na d the elephant is for my dad, he thought it was cute. HE really likes the the ears are two different sizes.
I used this pattern for the bear http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns&id=2
and this one for the elephant https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=213510.0

I have a picture of them together but I couldn't get it to open right to post on here but is on my blog here http://perfectasillneverbe.blogspot.com/2007/12/my-crafty-christmas-gifts.html

135  Re: OTT 16 gallery! in The Swap Gallery by tattooedcrafter on: November 30, 2007 01:05:52 PM
I received the most amazing mini bowl from bigmouth today, it is amazing and of course I have two cameras in my house and one has dead batteries and the other is no where to be found so I'll have to take pictures later or tomorrow.

Found it, the pictures don't show the true color my camera likes to change it, its really more of a purple blue. and my son said its stinky but he says that about everything. I took pictures of it next to a spool of thread to show how small it is.

and heres picture of what I sent her hopefully she can get better ones

its a crochet flower pin made with soda tabs

sorry I went picture crazy I just really love it.

138  Re: "Dobby Socks" Mismatched Sock Swap in The Swap Gallery by tattooedcrafter on: November 05, 2007 03:05:08 PM
I finaly got my wonderful sock from Madmatigan79, I love it, it fits great, now I have an awsome pair of mis matched socks.
I don't know if you can tell in the picture but the sock is bright blue, which happens to be the exact same color as a blanket I'm making for my dad, purple and green.

SO here is the sock I sent to Madmatigan79, used harry potter colors, dark red and goldish, I don't have any really good pictures but you can get the general idea.

this picture shows the colors a little better, the one I used on htis sock is on the far left, the other ones I used on irilabs

I hope Madmatigan79 can get some better pictures.
