I engraved a bottle a while ago with a Slytherin Crest on it, an filled it with green liquid. It is meant to look like a potion bottle from Harry Potter.



It now has a green ribbon tied around the neck of the bottle, to make it look more pretty!

Wow- you've inspired me! If I find a cheap blue hoodie, I want to make one for Girl Guide camp.

For those who have made a dino hoodie with spikes all the way down the back- how did you attach the spikes?

I recently acquired a new pair of jeans, but the fabric part around the waist needs belt loops!

I have some red fabric, and some ideas on how to attach them, looking at other trousers, but I still want them to look cool/unique and not simply straight like the ones on most jeans. Any ideas?

how about plaiting the thread, using hairspray to set it, then undoing the plait? Would that work?

I'm making a soft toy dog for one of my friends for her birthday. I was going to make a grey wolf for her (she's a fan of Harry Potter and her favourite character is Remus), but I didn't have enough grey furry fabric, so I've made a black dog instead (Sirius!)

It's half done- the pattern has been cut and for now I've pinned it together (to see what it would look like).
