I got my amazing poppet from rlynn yesterday and have quietly snuck on the computer before my house guests awaken to post a few pics: This lovely seaside creature arrived in the most beautiful outfit adorned with little treasure tidbits sewn to the fabrics of her skirt ( you can see the tiny key on the green strip) she has a sweet sand dollar necklace, too.
She came with a little jellyfish friend.
rlynn also made me this beautiful beaded bracelet from my wists -it even looks like like seaweed!
Thank you so much for everything, I really love it all! I am floored by your creativity and skills!

I received my fabulous package from goldencrafter yesterday:

Some fun pineappley bracelets and earrings, a cool shopping bag recycled from a shirt , with a cleverly embroidered pocket, a birthday card for Lassie, Salt & pepper prescription shakers from Gus, Shawn's dance shirt, a fun pineapple-face-making magnet game, some bonus yarn in a beautiful turquoise and the most delicious gooey chocolate chip cookies.
I love everything-but the cookies are the best! Thank you for putting together such a great package.

4  Re: Frugal Living 2: Return of the Cheap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by yelutci on: May 17, 2010 08:02:09 AM
I received my fabulously frugal and beautiful package from TerraBella01 ! It's been across the country & back thanks to some strange postal hiccup; but it was totally worth the wait. She made some gorgeous fabric napkins that go great with my dishes, I snuck them into the pic so she could see. She made a pretty menu planner and super clever coupon organizer out of recycled cereal boxes. There's also a little recipe book of green cleaners with great solutions for household cleaners. She made two lovely all occasion cards that I'm already planning to use for some upcoming birthdays.  When she resent the package she tucked in a cute puppy  ATC, plus some ATC blanks for me to play with (I can't wait to play with the watercolor paper ones). I've only made a few but had sent her some because I'd seen she collected them, I really enjoyed making them so these blanks are an extra treat!

Thank you again, Megan, I adore everything! Sorry you wound up having to send it twice but I totally appreciate it.

6  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Round 13 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by yelutci on: May 03, 2010 07:45:16 AM
I received my Awesome package from Edie22 on Saturday. Wow do I feel spoiled, she made two MYBs one in my spring theme and one in my coffee/tea theme, out of the most beautiful eggplant colored wool.
She filled them with all kinds of goodies and treats!(oops the beautiful butterfly hair clip is missing-it's already holding my hair)

I adore the flower scarf! The colors are so vibrant, and pretty, just like all the great goodies she crocheted. She sewed the cutest tea wallet, and coffee coasters out of corresponding fabrics, as well as a zippered purple paisley pouch that is just the right size for hooks and scissors.
All the handmade beauties:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

7  Purple Poptab Flower in Crochet: Completed Projects by yelutci on: April 26, 2010 09:13:25 AM
I made this for the Frugal Living swap, I just crocheted around the pop-tabs until it looked flower like, it took a few times ripping back before I was happy. I used up some of my thread scraps, and tied it to a market bag I crocheted from yarn leftovers, I hope the recipient likes it, it was definitely frugal.

After having been flaked on by my original partner; I received the most wonderfully crafted package of awesomeness today Grin from my angel bronzfrog! I'm so thankful and impressed by her generosity and thoughtfulness. Her attention to theme and detail is amazing -everything is in my favorite colors. The bags are beautiful and so well made, love the pockets in the big one, too. I adore!!! the lilac needle role. The yarn magnets and the scrabble stitch markers that spell out knit & purl are so clever. The yarn-pirate-bottle-cap earrings rock. And I just love the "K" and little girl knitting pendants.

Thank you for each and every thing I really do love it all.

9  Re: Proud to be a Christian Swap; Gallery of Goodness!! in The Swap Gallery by yelutci on: April 08, 2009 10:39:06 AM
Grin I got my totally awesome package from Nataluna:

She said she was going to up-cycle some T-shirts and they turned out so neat. I love the graphic on turtle pillow & the the hand print pillow has one of my favorite "reasons for homeschooling" verses Proverbs 22:6 "Raise up your child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."  I may have to share the cool turtle wrist cuff with my kids. I adore the buttony pouch and it was filled with decaf chai which is total serendipity. I couldn't sleep last night because I was drinking regular chai tea all day. Today is another gloomy day but now I can drink my tea all day and know I can still be able to sleep tonight.

And the all the little goodies: two Hello Kitty containers stuffed with all kinds of cool charms, including a beautiful jointed fish that wiggles and a sweet enamel vintage mirror, I love, love the little birds.
I am blown away by your generosity and adore every single thing, and it all arrived on DH's & my 14th Anniversary!
