Actually I finished this project last August, but I had no opportunity to take a photo. This was my first attempt to design a crochet top. I made the top part quite solid using shell pattern because I wanted to wear this without lining inside. I also did some decreasing after the bust area so it would have some shape. As you can see, the waist part is quite transparent. I was planning to weave in ribbon, but I could not find the matching color ribbon. So, in the end I left it as it is.

Thank you all for the comment.

The other thing that I love about your blog is how you speak in both Indonese and English.  You speak English beautifully, and I appreciate you taking the time to blog in both languages.  Otherwise, I could only look at your pictures without the comments.  Are you teaching your little girl to speak in both Indonese and English?  That is quite an advantage being able to speak the two languages.

Judi, thanks for visiting my blog. At first I only post in Indonesian, but my husband (my husband is not indonesian) and my other friend who can't understand the language complain to me, so now I post with 2 language. Unfortunately, I did not teach Indonesian to my girl, I only teach her English and Chinese as these 2 are more complicated. She can pick up Indonesian later.

I've had such problems getting the SKB to fit me correctly, and after seeing yours, I think it may be the v-neck that's my problem

Mukkapazza, I did decreases on the sides before the lace pattern, and also increases after the lace pattern. That is why I got the shape.

Thanks again

This is my first attempt to knit a garment for myself without pattern. It turned out quite OK, although I wished that I knitted a bit longer before started the lace pattern on the waist, because as you can see on the photo, my bra was showing  . Probably I should wear natural color bra if I wanted to wear this out. My original plan was to make the long sleeve version, but since this is not cotton, in the end I made short sleeve version so it would not too hot to wear out. The yarn itself was quite stretchy, so although I made this top with negative ease, its quite comfy. For more detail information you can read at: http://lilygo.blogspot.com/
