so pretty, and perfect for summer! I sure wish I could improvise like that...

Great projects--you're so productive. Could you send some of that my way?

about the  sweater... if you think it's too short, is the type of thing you could pick out the ribbing and add a couple of inches and finish it off bottom down in the round? It's so cute!

supercute. i love that yellow color, and you really pull off the short sweater well. great job!

yikes! wow, thank you guys! such a nice boost of confidence....
really though, it was a relatively easy sweater--all stockinette in the round and then a simple cable--i think it would be great for anyone who wants to try a cable without having to commit too much. No other shaping! I find the finishing to be the hardest part, and I've been trying really hard to get better at it. Honestly, this it the first sweater i feel really confident about.

Thanks again for all of the lovely and supportive comments Smiley

I love that pattern - The colors on yours are really pretty, and it looks like it fits you really well!

That is SUCH a great sweater! I love all the greys, and how you used the differences in the yarns to your advantage. I bet you'll get a lot of wear out of it.

My first sweater that I'm actually really happy with, and not trying to convince myself to like. The pattern is from Interweave Knits (Winter '07), and took me about 2 months to complete.

The yarn is so soft - Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Gotta love an alpaca! It won't get much wear until next fall, though, with the weather becoming warmer now that it's finally done...

thanks for looking Smiley

It's a lovely sweater. That Berroco is great to knit with, too.
