1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: what could i be for halloween with this dress? on: September 16, 2007 07:57:08 AM
I think it looks like stars.  You could go as the Night Sky, or a Galaxy.

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: non-inkjet transferring... i.e just an outline to embellish... on: March 05, 2006 06:27:38 AM
You can use Sulky Transfer Pens.
All you have to do is trace a mirrored image with the Sulky pen and iron it onto your material.
It comes in different colors too.

You could try it on a piece of paper first.  Fold it like you would your fabric.  And then practice making different cuts.  See if they turn out like you expected.
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Zombie/Voodoo pillow on: February 03, 2006 09:51:49 AM
Very beautiful work!

I am assuming that you transfer/trace/or draw a design onto the fabric, you color it in with crayon, iron it, dry it, and then embroider it?

Is this correct?

Hey art_grrls_are_easy,

I love your hat!  I was really tempted to make this one.  Just out of curiosity (I noticed you are local) where do you get your yarn?

I bought a GWBush doggie chew toy (made with leopard print backing) and an Evil Kitty Tee.
It was fun.
