skwirel -- that is really pretty.  Someone on ravelry recently posted a short sleeve version of it and it was also really pretty.  This might be my next-to-knit.

Thanks for the stitch information.  It helps to know what kind of ratio you used.  I'm trying to decide what my next project will be and this might be it.

really beautiful.  I like the raglan sleeves and prefer knitting that way.  I second the question:  how many stitches did you cast on (divided how) -- if you don't mind?  THANKS!
24  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Cherie Amour-along (knitty fall 07) on: November 11, 2007 10:39:58 AM
mrgrita -- that looks great!

I just wanted to share a modification I made to my Cherie- Amour.  The front V neck was really bothering me because it wouldn't really stay put due to the edge being a loose lace, so I added two rows of 2 x 2 ribbing around the whole neckline.   Now I can wear it without feeling like I have to constantly adjust it.

kokashi -- and others following this.  For those who like the leaf pattern but either don't want to buy the phildar book or don't have the ability to -- I just found a free online pattern with what appears to be almost exactly the same leaf design (though the sweater is different).   Here's the link:

Every single knit looks great.  Re: the garnstudio cardigan -- I have looked at that pattern before and just never thought of making it longer.  I may need to put this on my list.
