Wow, those invites sure are nice. 200 in 3 days?!?!?!!? Jeez, I was just printing mine from MS Word onto paper already cut from a kit and it took me wayyyyyy longer than that for 50 of them!! Good job!!!!
222  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: What computer program did you use for invites? on: October 30, 2006 09:40:24 PM
I just used MS Word and it worked great! You can work with watermarks in the program too. Good luck

226  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: The Crafty Wedding Craftalong! on: October 30, 2006 09:29:26 PM
You ladies are so creative!!! I thought the ladies on the actauly wedding message boards on actual wedding websites were awesome, but MAN, you guys are so good! I'll post my stuff soon!

DIY List:
Invites - - - finished!!!!
Cupcake stand
Thank you cards (thinking about using the shaving cream technique for marbelizing paper)
Ceremony seating (thinking of doing the whole chainsaw thing like the other poster!)
Guestbook or alternative
Seating chart
Place cards
New kissing game
hmmmm, think that's all I can think of for now . ..  all this in 8 months with a six month old baby!
227  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Greeting Cards... with buttons! (pic heavy) on: October 30, 2006 09:04:52 PM
Those are so awesome!!! If I knew how to sew a button . . .! (Ya, I know, that's pretty bad I don't know how, lol). They are so great!
228  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Easy Christmas Gift Wrap on: October 30, 2006 08:59:50 PM
Wow, I do the exact same thing!!! I use stencils though and it works great with the pouncing technique. My family totally raved over all of the gifts. Lots even saved the paper. I also like to buy white unfinished ceramic Christmas character decorations, paint those as well and secure them with ribbons right on the outside of the package . ..         WAS going to show a pic but I have to post 10 times first until I can post a pic . . . will make a new post later!
Yep, should be interesting this year trying to do that with a 6 month old baby! I'd better start now!
229  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Terra Cotta saucers on: October 11, 2006 11:00:34 PM
Actually that cake stand was my "inspiration" for the cupcake stand I am already making which I will have to post here later. I love the little birdbaths! I think you just gave me inspiration for more things for the tables! Hmmmm . . . Instead of seeing what I could do with supplies AFTER, I am finding more stuff to make for the wedding! lol Roll Eyes
230  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Terra Cotta saucers on: October 10, 2006 10:20:57 PM
I'm having a natural themed wedding with lots of terra cotta stuff. I was going to use the bigger saucers on the tables to put candles in, but what do I do with all those huge things after???
