1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fur Lined Hoodie on: October 19, 2006 12:42:53 PM
My room mate and I saw this hoodie by Juicy Couture a while back. He really wanted to get it, but it's $650.

I have reminants of an old rabbit fur coat that I may try and use, but I'm not sure if I have enough. Does anyone know of a good resource for fur or quality faux?

I would also appreciate any pointers for working with fur. I've done it before, but I feel like there must be a better way than what I have been doing.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit Veggies!!! on: October 15, 2006 02:47:18 PM
I wanted to make some cat toys and ended up with some veggies.

I think I may just keep the carrot for myself. I like it too much to let it be torn up.

I also made a pumpkin. They are both stuffed with plastic grocery bags.

See below for quick tutorial.
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Straight Jacket on: October 09, 2006 08:54:42 PM
I'm trying to make a straight jacket for a costume. I want to put some clasps or buckles of some sort all over it. I have only been able to find the plastic backpack ones that click together. These would be OK if they were not over $2 a piece.

Does anyone know of a cheap alternative or a place to get these clasps for less?
