1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Christmas Music CD Swap Round 2 - gallery on: November 21, 2006 04:44:35 PM
Wow!  Everyone has gotten such great CDs so far.  What a really eclectic mix of music!

I didn't know that the Darkness and Guster did Christmas songs. Man...so many great songs I have added to my "must have" list.

Oh my gosh!  I am so excited. I received my package today from StarFire!

It was just like Christmas opening up all of my gifts!  She really out did herself and I think she was a most excellent swap partner.

Enough jabber and how about some pictures....

The whole loot all together!

 1.  Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
 2.  Please Come Home For Christmas - Bon Jovi
 3.  The Holly and the Ivy - Mannheim Steamroller
 4.  Walkin' Round In Women's Underware - Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio
 5.  Frosty the Snowman - Gene Autry
 6.  Rockin' Around the Crhistmas Tree - Brenda Lee
 7.  God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three King -Barenaked Ladies w/ Sarah McLachlan
 8.  I Am Santa Claus - Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio
 9.  Carol of the Bells - Mannheim Steamroller
10.  I Have A Little Dreidel - Barenaked Ladies
11.  Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses
12.  The Chanukah Song - Adam Sandler
13.  Suzy Snowflake - Rosemary Clooney
14.  The Christmas Song - Citrus College Jazz Ensemble
15.  Cantique De Noel (O Holy Night) - Mannheim Steamroller
16.  All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
17.  Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - Nat King Cole
18.  Jingle Hells Bells - Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio
19.  Silver and Gold - Burl Ives
20.  Happy Christmas (War is Over) - John Lennon
21.  Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow - Citrus College Jazz Ensemble
22.  Greensleeves - Mannheim Steamroller
23.  The Kids - Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio
24.  Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland
25.  Auld Lang Syne - Barenaked Ladies

Overall, I consider myself to be a very very spoiled individual.  And now I'm having major craft anxiety because she sent me so many cool things and I feel like my "additional" items are lame in comparison.

Awww...that little penguin is so cute!

Looks like you received a bunch of great songs flanman!  I didn't know that Tori Amos did a cover of Little Drummer Boy. And I call myself of Tori fan.  Shame on me.

I will have to see if I can find that song!
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: "My name is SARAH" swap. on: November 08, 2006 08:29:08 PM
I'm also a Sarah.  Sarah with an H, thank you very much.

This sounds intriguing.  Depending on when this would actually take place and when sign ups are would determine if I could participate.  I am currently in my first swap, so I would have to wait until I complete the swap and receive feedback.

In college, I was referred to more commonly as Blondie since there were so many Sarahs.  My friends would get irritated because they would see me walking to class, yell out my name and I would just keep on going.  I had gotten burned so many times for turning around and answering to any and all "Sarah" calls.  Hence the birth of Blondie.  I always answer to that.   Grin

Oooooh!  I would be so interested in this.  But for me to join I need to complete my first swap, which is currently in progress and have feedback posted.

I'm hoping to get my package out this weekend...so depending on when sign ups end, I could possibly partake.
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Christmas Music CD Swap Round 2 - Sign ups Oct 24 - Nov 6, Send outs Nov 16 on: November 08, 2006 06:51:16 PM
I almost had a minor heart attack when I noted the new swap rules...especially regarding sending CDs.  I just spent the afternoon completing my mixes for my partner.

I am very excited that we are allowed to proceed with this swap!  Now that my CD's are done, I need to focus on my small item.  I am hoping to send within the next few days because uni is going to kick my rear next week.   Undecided

What a fantastic idea!  I love Christmas music.  I'm in.  I think this would be a great swap to introduce me to the swapping world!  Cheesy
