I've loved jeans purses since the 70's! This one is particularly adorable! Nice ideas! So much for 50 cents!

16  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Lawn Chairs on: April 28, 2008 05:49:15 PM

My mother used to make these Smiley, but she used old aluminum lawn chairs that she was given or bought (yard sales, etc.) She would take the screws and old worn plastic straps off, clean any areas (SOS worked well), and paint if needed. They came out nice.

The patterns/directions on kingskountry site is a good start, but their chairs are a bit expensive. Are they better than the plastic strapped ones you can buy now?

I have a few older books on this, but I'm not sure if they still make them. I found many pattern books at thrift stores (along with macrame cord!)
17  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Outdoor Mod Podge? on: April 13, 2008 03:10:11 PM
I tried to search, but only found mentions of it. Is there anyone that has used this on an item that was left outside in the weather? I am trying to find something that will protect a poster to be put on outdoor furniture. If this doesn't work, is there something that would? This would be kept near a pool.

I love it!

~~When you walk in the door after working grueling 12 hours on your feet, crafts don't ask you "What's for dinner?"

Songs that mention cities. You could try to hit all of the regions in the US.

One hit wonders
