lol Smiley you're right! i followed the pattern exactly, but for some reason he came out longer than the original...hmm...oh well Smiley muchas gracias!

Still, though... that makes him uniquely spifferiffic. Tiene el gato un nombre? :3? (Hee, spanish...)

Love the ipod monster! Quite spiff Cheesy

I've just recently stumbled upon this topic, and I'm currently embarking on my own little cozy projects, one which shall be a strawberry! I'll post once done.

SQUEE! He's cute!! I want one now.

He kinda looks like a mix between a weenie dog and a cat, teehee. Bien hecho. I <3 it!

I like the sunglasses case! I'm too scared to try any kind of multi-string knitting yet... ~_~ Good job though.
165  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cuddly teddy bear! (with links to patterns) on: January 21, 2007 11:10:52 AM
Quite possibly the coolest (and cuddliest) thing I've ever knitted. This is only my second teddy bear. Cheesy I can't post pictures yet, so there are links...

And a black and white picture, for no particular reason.

It's so soft and huggable!

What does everyone think?

Update: The patterns are from these 2 websites:

http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/harry/harrybear.html   (for the head & ears)
http://www.barddance.org/knittering/bluesbighugbear.htm   (for the body)

I actually had to make up some stuff as I was going from the body to the head, so it's kind of semi-made up on my own. I made the Harry Bear originally (out of blue worsted weight kinda stuff) and it turned out good. Either pattern works, but for some reason I wanted to combine them. It's knit on straight needles, you sew it together on the sides, and I knit mine in three days... so very easy. Cheesy
