1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / cover for my planner on: June 13, 2007 03:50:56 AM
Well, I'm a bit on the lame side and just bought a planner for this year (yes, I know it is june).  They only had inserts of the ones for this year, so I just glued a piece of cardboard to the last page (so there would be two hard surfaces), and covered it in felt.  It is hand stitched with embroidery floss.  I also stitched a bit of elastic in the back, so that I can wrap it around the planner to keep it shut.  I am in lurve with it!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / first tote bag on: June 13, 2007 03:46:57 AM
Here is the first tote bag I ever made!  Yay!  It was last month and I learned in sewing class.  It is a bit grubby now and I don't have the best pics of it, but I love it and I use it every day.  Plus, I've used this pattern again and again!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Sister's b-day present: plain black sweatshirt to dragons! on: June 13, 2007 03:44:04 AM
This is something I made last year for my littlest sister's bday (she turned 15).  She loves dragons and darkness and such, so it seemed appropriate.  I hand sewed the ribbon on and then just stenciled the dragons with acrylic paint.  My roommate at the time did the caligraphy...it means courage and is the same as the tattoo she has on her back.  It turned out pretty well and it's held up great in the wash!

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Mini Scrapbook for the BF--lotts o' pics on: December 02, 2006 01:13:02 AM
Here's a mini-scrapbook I made for my b/f.  We're in a long distance relationship right now and we recently spent a weekend in San Francisco. I wanted to give him something to remind him of our time together.  Here are some of the pics! (Sorry for so many pics)

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Plain black T to angel tee on: December 01, 2006 11:19:33 PM
Here's a shirt I made for my little sis.  It started out as a plain black t-shirt from the craft store.  I cut off the colar and made it a into V-neck.  Then I found some wings online and made a stencil for them.  Then I hand painted them with turquoise and a little gold paint.  Finally, I cut a few holes on the sides and made some lacing to give it that little something extra.  Pretty much my first recon, so I'm pretty pleased Smiley.

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pig Pouch on: December 01, 2006 11:12:03 PM
Here's a pig pouch I made out of felt and embroidery floss for my friend who loves pigs.  P.S. It's lined too!  She loved it!

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My Rasterbation/wall art on: December 01, 2006 10:38:47 PM
I made a HUGE rasterbated image of my b/f's face for my room.  We have been together for over 2 years, and we're now in a long distance relationship while I get my masters.  When he came up to visit me, and saw the picture, he was very surprised Smiley

It takes up a lot of a wall in my room.  Enjoy
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Le Dino Sac on: October 03, 2006 01:49:27 AM
Hey guys, this is my first post.  I love love love this site!  I am trying to learn how to sew and keep myself occupied between classes.  Here is the little bag that I made for my roomie while I was on a road trip from L.A.  A bit messy on the construction, but done the entire time that I was in the car (and while it was moving and driving in scary L.A. traffic)!

Made from felt and embroidary floss, inspired by you guys!  Kiss
