That is great, I'll have to add it to our list which I am currently weeding out the bad links.  At least I'll have new one. Cheesy

Tee-hee! Thanks!

And, I've come across some AOL Hometown links that are accessible via the internet way back machine... that somehow archives websites... I don't know what it's really called, or where to find it though Tongue

I love the smiley face. Smiley

Bernet makes the Glow in the Dark yarn.  I don't know if it is only sold around Halloween, because I haven't seen it since Halloween ended.  I have some of it that I bought myself. Smiley

I looked on the Joann.com site a bit earlier today, and they have 3 colors of it! So, I bought some. The skeins are only 72 yards each, though, so I'll have to figure out the best way to use it.

And I would like to send out a hip hip hurray to craftADDchick for being an AWESOME organizer.  Thank you.

Thank you Wink And thanks to everyone in this swap! So far, you've made it pretty easy! Everyone sent by the send-out date, and just about everyone has PM'd me when they've sent and received! Yay!

#15!

I made this one up during a crochet class. I was bored with practicing treble crochet, so I did this instead. Essentially, it's 3 rows of hdc and 1 row of trc. I did that 3 times, and ended with 3 rows of hdc. Then I put an edging on it.

I call it the "Three and a Half Dishcloth" and it was pretty easy. It came together very quickly, too. It's also a decent size and weight.

I put a rudimentary pattern here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=281751.0

In the class, the instructor taught us granny squares, which I already knew, so I made mine out of cotton for a dishcloth. I'm not counting this as one of my 50, however, because I already made a granny square cloth. I'm only counting the unique ones.

Not long ago, I took an intro to crochet class to see if I could pick up some things to help me crochet a bit better. Since I already knew the stitches being taught, I had a tendency to do my own thing. So, while we were supposed to be practicing our treble crochet, I made a dishcloth instead. I did include the treble crochet, so I was sort of doing what I was supposed to be doing Wink

It's pretty much 3 rows of hdc, followed by a row of trc. I did that 3 times, and ended with 3 rows of hdc. Then I put an edging on it.

I've written out the pattern, but I didn't test it (I wrote it after I finished), so I'm not 100% sure it makes sense. Let me know if you see anything I need to fix or clarify Smiley

Note: Turning chains count as first stitch of next row
Chain 27 (25  ch + 2 turning chains)
Row 1: hdc in fourth chain from hook; hdc across, ch 2, turn
Row 2: hdc across, ch 2, turn
Row 3: hdc across, ch 4, turn
Row 4: trc across, ch 2, turn

Rows 5 & 6: hdc across, ch 2, turn
Row 7: hdc across, ch 4, turn
Row 8: trc across, ch 2, turn

Rows 9-12: repeat rows 5-8

Rows 13-15: hdc across, ch 2, turn (At end of row 15, chain 1 only)

Edging: sc, chain 3 around. Along top and bottom edges, two hdc were skipped between each sc. Along sides, one sc into ends of first and third rows of hdc (or top and bottom of trc). Fasten off. Or,work desired edging.

For some reason, I think Bernat or Caron makes the glow-in-the-dark yarn, but Linda P would know the best Wink

MiLady, you are now officially ahead of me! Three times over, too! Great job!

I though I had seen them at Target when I went to buy mine, but when I went back they weren't there. I bought a similar looking tank top that is longer, I hope that's okay. I haven't started it yet, so I can change if needed.

Sounds fine Wink

Two more fabulous sets! The cupcake ones look so professional, and the second set- well, it's an amazing likeness. That collar piece is impressive!
