It may be that you have more or less depending on how many raglan repeats you did. Probably should have said that though!
Thanks, what are you making yours out of??

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Moderne Baby Blanket on: August 14, 2007 10:16:53 AM
The yarn is Tahki Cotton Classic and the blanket was knit on size 6's.
I think it took about three months of off-and-on knitting. But on the whole it was a pretty entertaining project surprisingly so. I thought it was going to be really boring, but the construction and the colors made it fun right up until I bound off the last stitch.

My sister has pointed out a couple minor mistakes in the pattern which I've posted here under Soy Errata.

The soy yarn comes in balls of like eleventy-billion yards which is pretty nice. My sister just ordered some Cotlin from KnitPicks to make this cardi and I think she said it cost a total of $14.

Thank you guys! I was caught off-guard by your enthusiasm, but the pattern is now written and I have sent it off to some knitterly friends so they can tell me whether I've royally messed it up before I post it for you lovely knitters.
I love the color of this yarn too. It is called Oasis and it is made by South West Trading Company, the color is just "purple" and it looks hand dyed, though I don't know if it is for sure.
I should have the pattern up tonight so keep an eye out.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / EDITED TO ADD PATTERN LINK TO: My Soy Cardigan on: July 24, 2007 11:59:46 AM
I just finished this cropped cardi made of Soy Silk and I love it. It's perfect for stufffing in my purse so I can pull it out in the overly-air-conditioned buildings here in Arizona. (It may be 115 degrees outside, but it is 37 in my office).

The pattern is of my own invention.
More photos and a free pdf of the pattern can be found here.

You have just singlehandedly added this to my list of things I must dream about knitting for the rest of the summer. It looks awesome!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Mr. Pink Elephant on: March 10, 2007 11:49:40 PM
I made him because I was bored with a complex lace scarf, so he presently has no owner. Presenting Mr. Pink Elephant:

Pattern is from "Toys to Knit". Yarn is from the stash (hence the pink)

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: OctoberVest my first design! on: October 17, 2006 09:28:50 PM
Thanks guys for the lovely comments on OctoberVest!
I have lots of notes from making the pattern, but I will put them together as it seems like there is some interest. It's not super complicated, but that makes it a fast, easy project.

Thanks again!
