The fuzzy ones aren't needle felted, they're crocheted with mohair style yarn, then brushed with a wire brush to make them fluffy.

Surely the most glam version of the 4th Doctor's scarf ever! Love it! Proportionally, it must be at least as long as the original.

That's beautiful! I was given a copy of the Silmarillion with that cover when I was quite young, and I liked Tolkien's designs even before I read it. I've only read it once, but I really liked it, I must get round to reading it again.

It's been far too long since I posted anything on Craftster, so I thought I'd better try and catch up with some of the things I've made.

Here are some mini amigurumi I made, a selection of little creatures including snails, beetles, ladybirds (ladybugs), spiders, and baby frogs, all between 1.5" and 2.5" long. I initially designed most of these when I was making lots of tiny things to sell at my sons' school bazaar, then I worked on the designs and came up with lots of variations. I also made a little playmat for the creatures, with a toadstool in the middle and a hollow log for them to play in.

These are the baby frogs, it's fun to make lots of these, and they enjoy playing in the hollow log.

I love snails - I don't even mind that they're slimy, but these are a non-slimy alternative.

The spider's legs are stiff enough for them to stand up nicely. I had fun playing with stitches to make interesting designs on their backs, or using variegated yarns.

I made two types of beetle, an oval-shaped one and a round ladybird/ladybug. As you can see, they fit quite well in a matchbox.

I hope you like all my mini creatures, I certainly had fun making them all.
