1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Loves me Loves me not on: August 20, 2007 02:05:54 PM

Napkin decoupage, printed on the backside of 2 different ribbons and fabric flowers with a coat of gesso and tulip paint.

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / I'm playing catch-up on: August 03, 2007 03:03:20 PM
I haven't done anything I've been happy with for a while now, but this last week the heat must have melted something in my brain, cause I finally made some things I'm satisfied with.  Almost all of these look better than the scans!

Pheonix, card base is napkin decoupage, embossed metal tape colored green with ink, then hand made leaf paper, some kind of roofing mesh tape (also colored with ink), metal leaf charm and magazine bird cutout colored with gold leafing pen and glitter glue:

This is one of those that looks so much better in real life.  The hand made paper is not nearly so red, edges if the card are covered with brass foil tape and colored with metal ink.  Embellishments are stickers (center leaf is on embossed vellum)

Trees thru the leaves, napkin decoupaged background, a little gesso over that, hand made simple leaf cut out and tree stamp layered on cardstock.  Gold leaf pen around the edges

Wiggle wired flower:  Again napkin decoupage base with a little gesso, then a wire flower (that now I see could have used another petal! lol) and a piece of cardstock for the vase.  Center of the flower is a smashed bottlecap.

Waiting Ladies.  I love this one --- so much better in person!  Made from a book cover (paper jacket-- whatever you call the paper cover on a hard back book).  Heavy shiney paper.  Just cut the image and overed a small piece of chipboard, made a frame from chipboard and the same book cover, like a slide frame, and layered it all on black cardstock.

I'm having too much fun with these pictures and getting nothing else done!
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / A Leaf in the Family Tree on: June 19, 2007 09:40:44 AM
I'm already outclassed by the gorgeous cards already posted, but this is my entry.  I was lucky enough to inherit a bunch of vintage photos from a 2nd cousin.  Even though I'm not acutally related to most of the people except thru marraige they were too cool to toss -- now I know the real reason I saved them!
IMHO, the card is better in person than in the scan, but here she is:

Teeisme recently adopted a miniature pig (She has Petey's picture as her avatar).  I wanted to send her something to commemorate the occasion so I made this atc.  When Petey grows up she can show it to him and remind him of his 'people'. LOL
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / my craft room on: January 14, 2007 04:04:55 PM
Cleaned it out and rearranged and made it more ATC friendly!  Could not believe how much junk I actually had! Roll Eyes
Probably won't be this neat again!!!

Looking in from the doorway

and then going around the room from left to right

Can't open the closet doors, I haven't tackled that yet!  lol

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / My Korean Cinderella on: January 01, 2007 01:41:39 PM
I was scanning images from my daughters book, 'Korean Cinderella', and decided to make an ATC with my own Cinderella, my daughter, Connie.

This is an answer to someone -- somewhere on these boards, I think!  I've read so much in the past couple of weeks I can't begin to remember where I saw the question, so if this doesn't belong here please move it for me.
Anyway, I think someone was looking for a specific patch and I knew that somewhere some time I had copied directions for making your own-- it just took me a while to find it! lol

Hope this helps someone:
