16  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Some Easy ideas for a begginer? on: November 13, 2006 11:53:59 AM
I've just started knitting,I can only do the normal stitch, but I would like to learn more. Also I need something else I can knit other than a scarf- that is easy!

If anyone could point me in the direction of links, patterns etc I'd be really thankful!
17  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The amazing armwarmers/legwarmers on: October 24, 2006 11:14:17 AM
I made these today out of an old pair of socks It was very easy, and it involved no sewing! Plus they can be worn as legwarmers or armwarmers. Not bad for 1 minute of cutting!

As armwarmers:

As legwarmers:

They are much nicer in person, the pics make them look a horrible colour, but actually they're a really nice bright pink!

Please leave comments!
18  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First ever knitted item!!!!! on: October 19, 2006 08:16:25 AM
It's a scarf with this great yarn. It was really thick and the colours are great. It's the first thing, and the only so far, I've ever kniited and it only took me a little while. It's a shame I can't wear it, because it's wool and I have sensitive skin so it's itchy!  Sad
