so i got to page 7o something and hopped over to the end and worked my way back to page thie 230 something and i thought that i'd contribute to this fabulous thread.....

my hair history is an odd one... I have super kinky curly hair and so i can only do so much.... i've had every shade of red possible ithink..... here are pics of some[LOTS OF PIX!!]:
more of a brownish i didn't like this one much, it only lasted a month....prom...

yet another dance...homecoming i think...
please excuse this face... i call it the monkey...
this one's my favorite

dark cherry red with black low-lights

Here's my hair now:

And some ideas of what iwant it to look like by the end of the month:

my hair isn't as exotic and punky as everyone elses but it will be VERY soon...... here's the woldest hair i've ever had.... it was for a hair show....
i thought it was too wild and it was glued to my hair so i tried to straghten it........

it didn't look much better and i had to go to school the next day... so i took it out and half of my real hair came out with it.....

hope you like....
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Denim Mini... Calvin Klein Jeans... on: June 01, 2004 09:00:19 AM
You guys are so nice... thats why i love this site...

LikeHolyWine... I like your humor it makes me chuckle...

Crafterglow... about the pleats i took each leg of the jeans and took the fronts and backs of them...(panels i guess you would call them) and i folded them into "even"(eyeballing of course) pleats and sewed the top in two places... after i got a pretty good section of pleats i steamed them with the iron... the steam helped the thick denim hold the pleats... hope that helps...

Tirididi... Surprisingly it didn't take as long i thought it would...about 1 1/2 days... thanks for the complement...

*jessie*... go ahead and take it... I saw something similar in abercrombie and i almost bought it until i saw that it cost like $65 so then i decided to make one!! I'm just here to share... maybe yours will turn out better than mine!

Well to all.... i'm going to expose the inside of the skirt and show you all just how unorthodox it really is!!!... also to explain to you why i can't do a tutorial! well keep posting... maybe i'll have more stuff soon... i just got a new bleach pen so maybe i'll do something with that... suggestions?

Here are The Pics:

****Ignore My Feet Under the Shirt... I'm taking the pic looking down...lol****
**** Now ya'll can see why i'm afraid to wash it! lol****
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Denim Mini... Calvin Klein Jeans... on: May 31, 2004 10:23:40 AM
Ok I was getting really annoyed with the way these jeans were fitting me so i decided to make them into a cute little skirt....My sewing machine is totally screwed up so while in the process of getting it fixed i am having to do all of my sewing by hand... therefore... i have no clue how i did it... resulting in the fact that i have no tutorial... sorry... post and tell me what ya think!

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Halter... Make 7...Up Yours Tee... on: May 28, 2004 11:33:47 AM
I've had this AWESOME Tee hanging around the house for about a year..... you know the one where on the front it says "Make 7" and on the back it says "UP Yours"... well it was an XXL and it looked like a dress on me so i decided to make into a halter after all it is summer and very hot down here in the south.... This is My first Tee Reconstruction so post and tell me what you think....

I also made this cute little denim pleated skirt out of a pair of jeans i had... they were way too big....

Sorry guys No Before Pics But I Have Afters... I should have the skirt up soon...

Here's the tee...
