21  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: .:Mendhi // Henna designs:. on: February 26, 2009 08:11:37 AM
Wow!! Beautiful. I can tell it's very high-quality henna- look at how rich the color is! I would love to see the brand, even if I can't read it.. Could I order some from online somewhere?
22  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Cute felt dragon! Img heavy, first project! on: February 03, 2009 03:41:04 PM
Wow!! This is SO FREAKIN COOL.

How exactly did you do it? I'm not really asking for a pattern-specific tutorial- I just want to get an idea for how to create something like that (like a kitty Tongue) myself. Did you use any resources (books, websites, etc.?)
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Simple mittens from Buttercup on: January 27, 2009 12:42:08 PM
AAAWW! Buttercup is SO cute, and her wool is beautiful! This post seriously makes me want to obtain some sort of fiber animal- but seeing as how I'm stuck in an apartment for at least a few more years, I'm not sure that'll be happening any time soon..

Either way, I love those mittens. It's so cool how Buttercup's wool develops it's own pattern- it's like a fingerprint!
24  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Fish-cushion! on: January 21, 2009 09:19:18 AM
Aw! It's so cute!

Those buttons give me an idea- what if you sewed or glued buttons onto the fish like scales? In my head, I'm picturing that children's book: The Rainbow Fish. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of a pincushion, but I think it would be really pretty!

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: WARNING!!! ADULT LESBO CONTENT! on: January 17, 2009 08:37:59 AM
Amazing! Now I really, REALLY wish I could sew!!

I'm poor, but Mom and I have tons of fabric and crafty materials and things, and I own a sewing machine- I just don't have the proper skills SadSad

SO freakin' awesome. I love it! I'm not quite sure I understand how it was made, though. And considering that the last time I sewed anything was when I was 13 or 14 at my aunt's house, I'm not sure I could understand unless I saw pictures of the shape flattened out or a pattern.. Are there any patterns or tutes of this drape cape design?

Too awesome! I love the space-saving tree, too!! (THAT would fit in my apartment!)
28  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Old jeans = new messenger bag on: December 04, 2008 06:51:52 PM
This is great. It's not your typical "bag made from jeans".. It's so creative and it really looks professional! I know how hard it can be to get clothes to lay flat and be "square enough" to make something else out of them, but it looks like you didn't have any trouble with that at all!

I guess the only change I would make is to put a patch of the lining fabric somewhere on the outside of the flap- just to balance it out, since you can see the lining on the underside of the strap.

Either way, though, I love it. Great job!
29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: To crop or not to crop? on: November 10, 2008 08:35:22 PM
I like it cropped the best- I think it looks more.. sophisticated, I guess. The long sleeves look really laid back and comfy, but the cropped sleeves look so classy on that shirt!
