21  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: sock snowman on: December 22, 2004 08:01:07 PM

My friends all say my love of snowmen boarders on being a snowman molester. I tend to feel the need to touch them.

I would make this, but my friends would tear it away from me in a desire to protect it.

I love snowmen.  Grin

23  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Help! small inexpensive gifts for small kids! on: December 11, 2004 08:34:17 PM
Hey I have the same problem. I have these two "band buddies" basically, we write letters to kindergarteners so that they learn to read and write and whatnot. I am meeting them for the first time on the 20th I believe. Their names are Sam and Olivia and they have already drawn me the cutest things, rumor has it the little ones will have presents for us, so we should make somehting for them.

If anyone has any ideas as to what I could give both a girl and a boy that is cute and Christmas themed, It's be greatly appreichiated.
24  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Pearls and Ribbon on: November 28, 2004 05:08:57 PM
I made these awhile back after reading your post...my picture sucks (the pearls don't actually glow! and the ribbon looks better in person) but I thought I'd post anyways cuz I'm avoiding writing a term paper Grin...

w00t. so am I!!

I love that necklace. i'd do that with mine too, but I don't have anything to wear it with. meh.

26  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Rasterbation on: November 25, 2004 06:45:09 PM
There was a topic about this a while back.

I have a 36 page one on my wall. In my experience the bigger the better. I have done several of varing sizes, and I love my 25-40 page ones the most. If you only use 4 pages, you loose a lot of the detail.

And it is easiest just to print them on different color pages. I have one that is a rainbow...
27  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Johnny the Homicidal Maniac on: November 24, 2004 08:02:50 PM

I love it. I need it. I want it. Tutorial please, I've never made a purse of...tape?

As for the person who never read the spin offs, I personally love squee and Filler Bunny. Squee is like JTHM in its sick humor, but it is light hearted and mocks education. Then I love filler bunny because it is just cute. I have never read I Feel Sick because I am not a huge fan of Devi.
28  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Gifts for Mom's (and dad's) 50th birthday on: November 24, 2004 06:22:11 PM

My mom and dad are both turning 50 in the next week, so i was wondering if anyone had any crafty ideas of things to give them. I don't want to do like, "I'll wash the dishes coupons" or anything like that.
29  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Butterfly Quotes? on: November 22, 2004 08:02:24 PM
Chuang Tzu's butterfly dream - "Once upon a time, I, Chuang Tzu, dreamt I was a butterfly ... Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man."

I used that quote on a ceramics tile I made last year.

Yes they are cute. I made some a while ago.

Unfortuantely, the yellow star fell off my phone, I haven't replaced it yet. I still have a ton more shrinky dinks that I haven't made into cell phone straps. I love the buddha one I made, but my mom told me it was real silver, so I don't want to risk losing it. ^_^

Yeah I should get working on that, afterall, I have a studyhall during which I sleep so as to avoid AP english work...
