1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Millions and Jillions of Dice (es?) on: June 06, 2004 01:36:14 PM
There's an article floating around here about making a bulletin board with an old scrabble game and the pieces. What about getting an old deck of cards, gluing them face down onto any surface you can hang up (a blank bulletin board, or even just a piece of cardboard or wood). Then with the dice, gluing thumbtacks to one side of them, to make decorative pushpins.

I like this idea. I may just try it myself!!

I really need to get around to doing the same thing as you.

Save all my magazines and everything with the intention of doing so, but still haven't.

My goal is to have soo much of it going around in my new apartment.

Great job.

Did you glue the pictures down?

And did you cover the entire piece afterwards to prevent peelage? And if so, what did you cover it with?

I love this sort of thing, but I can't find the right thing to coat over it without making it messy, or ruining it completely.

Tile art. One of my favorite pastimes.

I happen to think tiles make some of the funnest artwork.

I sell a lot of them, with whatever design anyone wants. As sets of coasters, as singles for whatever, or singles or collages in frames.

So much fun!

And I love your artwork!
