I wish I'd known about Craftster when I started knitting my first sweater!  Congratulations to you all for taking such a big step Grin

It's cause it's a blog photo and craftster blocks blog photos.

Just click the properties and you can re-paste the URL.

^ ^ It's pretty!!!!!!

Thank you, I'm very proud of it!

I'm still figuring out all this Craftster stuff...  If you can't see the picture, check out my blog http://knittingwounded.blogspot.com/, it's front and center  Cheesy

Look what I just finished up:

I did a teeny-tiny modification to the sleeves to make them normal 3/4 sleeves instead of long bell sleeves; all the specs are on my blog if anyone's interested.

Do you like, yes yes?

I may just be the last person on Earth to knit this pattern... What has been everyone's favorite yarn so far?

I just started this sweater about a month ago.  Hearing how everybody talks about their finished projects isn't encouraging me to finish it Undecided   Are there similar patterns for cardigan sweaters that you guys have made that you were really happy with?  I'd love to hear which ones! Maybe frogging my Mariah can wait till then.

Oh no, it wasn't that I didn't like the pattern.  Knowing what I do now, I think that the pattern maybe wasn't adjusted correctly for the different sizes or something.  I still love the sweater; the cabled sleeves are a masterpiece.  As my first sweater project it really helped prove to myself that I could knit any damn thing Cool

I bought yarn and this pattern months ago, but just have not gotten around to knitting myself a OSW... After seeing all the beautiful work on this thread the OSW has moved up a few notches in the queue!

I have to agree with PlayItGeorge, I can't tell you how much trouble I had with the sleeve directions!  I finished my Mariah a while ago, but I need to put in a new zipper.

I never really thought about it, but the sweater does hang funny; I thought it was just my big behind warping it  Cheesy

Everyone's sweaters look so wonderful!

If I knit anymore I won't sleep, but I'm really looking forward to wearing this sweater.

OMG, I thought it was just me!

I've been making bootie-bags out of my jeans once the thighs wear out, just cut off the legs and sew them up.  Imagine my suprise when my bf's aunt shows up to breakfast with one she bought in Santa Monica for $50!  And all it had were some dolphin patches and puffy paint on them!

HI everyone!

I started my SKP Monday night when my Knit Picks order arrived. I'm using Andean Silk in the Hyacinth colorway (a deep blue-purple color). I'm knitting the XL, and I think I may be the only one knitting their actual sweater size!

I am knitting the large size and can't wait 'til one of us more, uh, robust knitters gets done.

I debated the Andean Silk for a while, but picked up some K1C2 Angora Soft off of Webs.  After your review I will be ordering some AS for my next sweater  Grin
