pics  please I am a  slow  learner.... thanks a  bunch.  and   where on  earth  did  you find the  fabric?

If you still have some trouble, please tell me which part you don't understand.

Oh, and I got the fabric from a kind lady at a craft market who had a pile of free fabric remnants. She let me take several - enough to make the wallet and bag

15  Re: crocheted flower in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by ecreations on: September 11, 2006 07:10:19 PM
Hi again,
I've tested my pattern and it doesn't work! Sorry! firstly the middle ripples due to over increasing. And also the petals are too rounded. If you make a middle, increasing till you have 21(?) then try
*ch2, 1dc, ch3, 1dc in same spot as first dc, 1dc, sc* for each petal 7 times around
Hope thats ok

edit: tried it, sorta works - not sure if it looks like what you want

16  Girls White Striped Handbag / Purse in Crochet: Completed Projects by ecreations on: September 08, 2006 01:19:22 AM
Just thought I'd show everyone this purse/handbag I crocheted.
I made it up as I went along and crocheted most of it on a very long drive.
I think it probably suits a young girl, what do you think?

p.s. the flower is removable since i sewed it onto a safety pin.
