1162  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / 1920s daywear.. any help!? on: September 02, 2006 01:37:31 PM
Hi  Grin I've been given a project at college to design and make a 3 piece outfit inspired by 1920's day or sports wear but NOT evening wear...! I'm finding it really hard finding inspiration, so I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas of what I could do?? I thought about a coat but everybody seemed to do that who had this project last year... any help would be GREATLY appreciated! lol Lou xxx  Grin

1170  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old CDs / AOL CDs / AOL CD Cases on: August 29, 2006 11:57:59 AM
Sorry if this has already been suggested, but you can make an ashtray out of one if you smoke? stick a 2pence piece over the hole in the middle.. (obviously any currency will do if you're not in the UK) and hold a lighter underneath the cd from the centre to the outside (just one line first), then use a pencil to mould it into shape, then do this 3 more times.. rubbis tut I know and no pictures makes it awful but try googling it and see what comes up!
