Thank you everyone, I'll post in here if I ever get a chance to do more (exams this week and next and then a week's placement will probably suck up most of the next few weeks)
As a fellow nursing student I LOVE IT!! I am sure your course is as hard as mine and you have got to use every trick available to get all that information in your head!
Check out:

http://www.snjourney.com if you add them on facebook they usually post little things daily which are easy to remember!
http://geekchambers.blogspot.com/ to see another nursing student deal with the stress of it all!
good luck!!!

Thank you so much for those link especially the snjourney one- it will come in very handy!
I'm in Australia, which country are you from?
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A new favorite dress for summer! on: May 15, 2011 04:28:12 AM
Gorgeous dress. I found this helpful when padding out my dressform (also too small in the waist/hips)
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Artistic anatomy on: May 15, 2011 04:23:33 AM

I'm studying nursing and finding creative ways to study anatomy as it's doing my head in trying to remember everything. These are a couple of papercuts, with ink and watercolour on Hahnemhle paper.
This one is an ovum

Detail- the texture was made with a pin

and the muscles of the eye

Labelled (The lateral rectus is actually wrong and I will be fixing that up)

Love to hear what you think Smiley

I just came back from a trip to Florida (i'm in Canada) and @ Universal Studios (on the way out on Citywalk) ppl at a cart kiosk were selling shirts like that for 1 for $50.00 or 2 for $80.00. WAS looking into getting a couple but when I found out that you could only hand wash dry the shirts I was LIKE nooooo way and my nephew was really really upset!!! BUT........ OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! a BIG thx to you for dropping the site name where you got the panel I think I now can make him one!!! TY TY TY TY!!!!!!!!

No worries, can't wait to see what you come up with Smiley

wowee, you rock! What a mum, that's awesome. What is focal, an electronics store? I wonder if we have that sort of thing in Australia. I"m off to google it now. That's fantastic, I want one so badly!
Focal price ships from china (with free postage) I'm in Australia too so they definitely send things here. There is a link in my first post for the panels but be warned it's a very addictive site!
