1  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Re: "Make do and mend" on: August 21, 2007 09:53:37 AM
I love this:When women reconstructed out of necessity, but it is still accurate in 2007, sometime we do it out of fun, refurnishing, repainting, recycling, but sometime it is out of necessity. It is also in the spirit of crafter to have such a challenge, but i think you should pin point a little more what the challenge is. Let's say using only fabrics or plastic or wood just so people will do a project according to the challenge and not taking something they already made because it fit in the description.

7  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / the ultimate challenge on: March 08, 2007 09:35:54 AM
What about using something that has a purpose and make it unusable, for example a chair with nails where we usually sit, a sweater with no hole for the head. The point here is to permit us to be creative with every day objects to go wild and let our imagination run in what ever direction it wants.
8  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / funny oven mitts or potholder on: March 07, 2007 09:29:09 AM
Everybody that owns a stove posses one of those, so why not make something original and funny. Oven mitts or potholders or what ever is needed to take something hot from the stove.
