11  Color Slide in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by meltdown on: May 29, 2007 05:32:51 AM
New stuff!  Cool My latest creation is a bead series called "Color Slide." As you can see from the photos, the colors (along with the white gold leaf) slide and blend. See what you think.

As always, Thanks for looking! Tim  Smiley

Wait...! I've also just finished a larger focal bead using this color combination. It has a raised star burst decoration as well.

Thanks!

OK, now I'm posting a bead-a-day. Are you sick of me yet?  Tongue
Lily has a simple but very pretty necklace that features a cobalt / emerald / white gold leaf glass bead that is just beautiful. Today I decided to make my own version. The colors remind me of tide pools. See what you think.
Thanks for looking!  Cool Tim

14  Sandstorm in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by meltdown on: May 23, 2007 09:31:59 PM
New day - New Bead.  Smiley This one is very fascinating to look at, I think. The colors are reminiscent of a desert sandstorm, very natural.

Thanks for looking! - Tim

I really love the gold leaf inside the beads!!  What are you going to do with these beads?  Do you make necklaces?

Christine

I am the bead making half of our operation - My wife Lily is a jewelry designer from way back and does some truly beautiful work! Along with our online bead and jewelry store we have a physical store in Florence, Italy. A large part of what I do is make beads for wholesale accounts. I just made up some new colors of this bead - These are with silver foil. See what you think! As always... Thanks for looking!  Smiley

I just found out yesterday that beads from my organic Hollow "Rock" bead series have been selected into the BeadWork Magazine Top 100 - Hurray! I don't know what it means exactly Huh but the recognition is nice and hopefully it will also mean some free advertising from that issue. (a link to our site? I hope so!)

Here's a few photos of the beads in question:

Thanks! Tim
