I made these without a pattern, so i'm extremely smug.  Wink The yarn is rowan soft lux. I got it very cheap online. I love them even though it is much much to hot to wear them. Cry

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / THIS IS SPARTA! on: June 25, 2008 05:44:35 AM
This is a tweaked pattern from "creepy cute crochet". I've made him for a friend who is in the hospital right now. I added a crest to the helmet and messed around with the cape a little bit, to make him look like the main character from 300. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out, except for the face.

The patterns in the book were written kinda confusing, but I got it eventually.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Black and rose baby jacket. on: June 02, 2008 12:08:17 PM
Hello! this is somthing i made a little while ago. It is loosely based off a free pattern I got at a craft store. The main color is caron simply soft in rose and its trimmed in a scrap of black yarn. The flower is the pinwheel flower from the happy hooker book. Its center is moonlight mohair.

Let me know what you think!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Rainbow granny afghan for my mom. on: May 31, 2008 11:27:27 AM

Hello! I made this afghan for my mom out of scraps that my grandmother Left me. I got the pattern out of a book called Crochet For Today. I'm really proud of it. I'm not sure I ever want to make another granny square again though! all those ends to sew in...  Tongue

I'm not sure how big it is. I forgot to measure before I gave it to her. It's lying on my queen size bed so it's pretty big (yes, I live in a garage.) So yeah tell me what you think! I hope to post alot more of my FOs now that I have a camera!
