yeah im pretty sure now im gonna use all four skeins because i came to the conclusion that i dont wanna block it i really like how it looks all fluffy! im only gonna block the ends so they can be straight.. Patons natural earth seems to be very popular when knitting danica..oh im on my 3rd skein almost done cant wait to post up some pictures

20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Trinity Stitch Hat (tons of pix!) *Now with Pattern!* on: November 27, 2007 06:55:48 PM
Wait, so I AM supposed to follow the bobble row, then knit, not purl? The pattern has the thing listed as knit, but it says to change all knits on RS rows to purls.

Time to rip out a few rows, I was wondering why it looked.. weird.

Wow, I'm sorry this is so confusing! I had to reread your post a bunch of times, then the pattern a bunch of times to remember what I was talking about originally.   Embarrassed

When knitting the hat in the round, you want to *knit* all right side rows like the pattern says. The note (above the pattern instructions) about remembering to *purl* the RS rows is only for *swatching,* which you'd be knitting back and forth, instead of in the round.

So sorry this was confusing! I hope you didn't get too far before you had to rip it out. At least hats are usually pretty quick, and the extra practice with the bobbles is probably good. I always need practice, anyway.

Wow i purled all the RS rows and i think it looks pretty good either way ohhwell i guess ..next time
