1  My first Granny in Crochet: Completed Projects by lysebab on: June 13, 2008 02:25:33 PM
Hello,
I thought I would share my first granny with everyone. sense then I have made  Cotton Candy which I listed on another thread.
This one was made with the main color light blue and some colorful yarn in between. Doing this made me like granny squares a lot. I never really cared for doing one sq until I made this one. I changed up the style just a bit to give it some attitude.
I hope you like.

3  Cotton Candy Baby Blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by lysebab on: June 12, 2008 05:31:23 PM
I just finished this granny square. I thought I would brighting it up and add a few colors to it. I didn't want the same color through out, only because I get bored fast with using the same color. I remember when I hated granny squares. I have grown to love them,,,, well this one I did.
Hope you all like.

Hello all,
I thought I would post my thread bear. I have been resting my hand scense surgery. It is not there yet, but soon I will be back to normal with my hand.
Her name is Candice and she is 2.5 inches tall.
This is what happens when you have time to think of a bear to make when you can't crochet for a long time.

5  Re: Ripple along in Crochetalongs by lysebab on: December 26, 2006 11:42:52 AM
This is one of my ripples. This was my second one that I ever did. I learned how to do one from an older lady. Then I learned how to do them by counting eithier 10's,8's'9's and so on. Now I just make them with short hills or long ones. It depends on the mood.

PS Helpful ending. When changing to the next color. Before you cut, Try working that color in with the Changed color for a couple of stitches. This will save time at the very ending and you won't have to weave as much at the finishing. This works and the project last a very long time without coming apart.

6  Re: chopstick/dowel knitting needle tutorial in Knitting: Completed Projects by lysebab on: November 09, 2006 06:29:43 PM
Here is my first try at the needles.
I made them a little short because I didn't want the big ones. I have a dozen more to make.
I sand them, but don't know where to find that darn wax paper. I went to several art stores but they didn't have them. well here it is.

Oh yeah I just learn how to knitt. I had to teach myself.
