Class: Detention with Snape!
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Bug Spray
Project Page Link:Tutorial- http://frugallysustainable.com/2012/03/handmade-natural-bug-repellent-spray-a-recipe/
Brief Description: Bought all the essential oils and stuff probably two months ago, and it's not like it would take a lot of time to make, I just never did it.  Detention with Snape was a good reminder to finish it!

Just a link because all of craftster probably doesn't care to see a dumb spray bottle with the label "Bug Spray"  LOL   http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n250/secretsmilesshop/photo-8.jpg
853  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Mermaid Carved Stamp on: June 07, 2012 07:00:44 AM
I'm new at learning stamp carving.  Been doing it maybe two weeks, and feel more comfortable doing simple things so thought I'd try a challenge.  Lots of details in this one, but I absolutely love how it turned out!  I was worried beyond measure at getting the face right in such small carves, but it looks good enough for me!  This took me around three hours and my neck was killing me leaning over it for that long.  Guess I need to work on my posture while I craft.  Anyway, onto the beauty!

Thanks for looking!

Project Name: Mermaid stamp
Brief Description: My latest obsession has been stamp carving.  Here is my newest.  Most detailed I've done yet and wow I love how it turned out.  I guess I never got over my little mermaid obsession from when I was young, lol.  I think this mermaid is more a siren then the selkies.  Now to figure out a hundred things to stamp her on.

Class (or House Pride Item): Arithmancy
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: 1, 1, 2, 3
Brief Description:  Found this shirt saying online when looking for ideas, and thought it was hilarious.  Had to be for my math geek husband. This will be his, but I'll model (eep!).  Freezer stencil, the most detailed I've ever done.  I've been cutting the stencil out bit by bit over the last three days, finally just decided to finish it today.  Hubs loves it.

Project Name: Fairy Cookies
Brief Description:  Already having done small polyclay goods for my other project I decided to do something different, miniature cookies.  Made peanut butter blossoms but used miniature chocolate chips and tinsy bits of dough.  I hadn't left them out too long when my garden fairies found them!

For sizing!  Miniature chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, and Hershey's kiss
