1  Re: 2019 Make-A-Friend Revival: Miniature Version Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by kwality570 on: May 02, 2019 02:10:28 PM
I received from Summer6061 and boy did I get spoiled. I took most of these photos in my craft room, so ignore the crazy, messy background.

Here is the amazing letter she sent me!

She included a Lush bath bomb and a Take 5 bar as my purchased items. (I had already excitedly eaten the candy bar by the time I photographed the package. Oops!) It was such a nice gift. I loved the colors and fizzing and glitter.

Look at this adorably decorated candle she made! It smells so amazing. I'm excited to try a candle with a wooden wick. I had to photograph the wick so everyone could see how cool it looked!

Handmade body wash and shower gel that smell fabulous. They're also glittery and gorgeous and the lotion is super moisturizing.

She sent them in this amazing pouch that she put the cool shiny queen bee on!

I got the Oceania Mermicorno in my box. Seriously, these things are awesome. Smiley I'd never heard of them before getting one from StudioANF. I may need to start collecting them now.

I received my package from StudioANF and I was absolutely blown away. It's super amazing.

The box was hand painted! I didn't catch a photo of the front of the box, but it had hand drawn stars on it.
The notes say, "I Dream My Painting and I Paint My Dream" and "BEING AN ADULT IS THE DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER DONE."

Her letter was even a work of art. The backs were made out of a Virginia map and some cool illustrations.

Super amazing crafted item - Crochet Granny Squarish Pouch. It's gorgeous and looks like stained glass.

Plenty of cool extras. The heart thing is a hand made bag. I love all of these cute things!

I think the little Tokidoki Mermicorno blind box was my favorite. I already put it onto my day bag.

Thanks so much!

5  Baby Groot Crochet in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by kwality570 on: April 02, 2019 05:30:35 PM
One of my coworkers sent me a photo of a crochet baby groot. I looked up several patterns and thought this one was the cutest, so I made it for her. I can't wait to surprise her with it at work tomorrow!

I used this pattern by Twinkie Chan:

6  Re: Positive Affirmations swap round 2 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by kwality570 on: March 21, 2019 08:03:34 PM
I received some awesome embroidered items from the machine embroidery wizard Thanate. My favorite colors are teal and magenta, and she pulled them off wonderfully. Included with the amazing affirmations was a cute little free monsters piece. Absolutely adorable. I love it all so much!

tendstowardschaos, that is so cool! I love the fabrics you used with the screen printing.

I added two items to my list that I made for Thanate in the positive affirmations swap:

The monster was made on watercolor paper with a watercolor background using Brusho Crystals. If anyone hasn't tried them, they're amazingly fun. Kind of pricy to start, but the little tubs will last a very very long time, I think.

I also made her this Traveler's size Midori insert using recycled kraft paper on the insides and a watercolor outside. I stamped some sewing related stamps along all of the tops of the inside pages because she's a machine embroidery guru now.

10  Re: Paper and Mixed Media Craft-Along in Craftalongs by kwality570 on: February 17, 2019 08:20:17 PM
The ATCoin swap is wrapping up and my partners have received, so I can finally share the two sets that I made. On the first set, I used liquid acrylic inks with markers and distress inks and pens on top, the other was using inktense pencils with markers and distress inks and pens. I made both sets on watercolor paper. I'm digging the results of using watercolor or mixed media paper. I had tried inktense before but hated whatever I came up with, but think these guys turned out pretty cute.

audio I have a ton of projects that I've started and abandoned for something more fun also. That's the best part of swapping - a deadline to keep me on track! Otherwise, I'd have 17 million projects in flux!
